In my area their are police in helicopters almost everyday and yes they use thermal heat imagery cameras but mainly for hit & run criminals.

My question is:

What do you use to prevent heat being detected by suh high equipment?

Your little light will not show. If ya have 20 1000watters goin then yes.

Just think of an oven. Thats way hotter than one light.

Flir detects unusual heat patterns. Make sure to disperse your heat exhaust and do not have a huge amount of electrical equipment running and you should be fine.

Many more people get busted by talking about their grow than by Flir.

yeah, just make sure you're exhausting into your house, not outside, and let the heat disperse around the house, you'll be fine, especially with only one light.
