Choosing the best soil for early stage?

Roots Organics is one of the best commercial type soils and it will do well for you. As long as you are ordering, get Neptune's fish hydrolysate (definitely available on amazon) and give it as a weekly (or so) nutrient. It's very gentle and the nutrients are readily available to the plant.

I use regular potting soil, scotts brand has always been good for my seedlings from germination until ready to transplant into better soil,no problems whatsoever.

FOX FARM 100% natural organic enriched with bat guano or seaweed, whatever kind you choose I did the same thing, Only when I started mine with MG MC, I took out all pellets I could find so when I did transplant to organic, it would prevent overfeeding, but it is annoying picking them out, but it was just for some young plants, Had to use what you got. I am not recommending this because im not sure but I seen MG organic the other day, it was red, I need to check into it somemore but It was decent price. The FOXFARM is a little pricey but I promise worth it, Go to the website they will telly you if you type in zip code, It will display nearest store, IF you don't have a hydroponics/grow store..Ebay carrys it! GOOD luck and one love!

get rid of that mg moisture control blue bag ? that's bull shit, but the other mg is ok, as long as you add perlite . never have any thing that locks in moisture. the mg has a lot of negative reviews, about it, the moisture control , has a lot of problems, some peoples plants dye because after they water the moisture is traped on top and never gets to the bottom the roots !

PROMIX...very easy but not exactly cheap. You can use almost anything as long as it includes some perlite, vermiculite, peat and soil/soiless base.
