choosing a seed company

riu, how you know which seed company to go with? I read weed magazines from time to time, I see familiar seed companies show up. But how do I know which one to go with? Its gotta be something more than oh this strain name sounds cool I'll go with this one. How do you know which seed company has the best reputation and quality? What made you choose a seed company in particular?

Well honestly I just made a bet on the shit, I put $100 on Sea of Seeds and $100 on Vancouver Seed Bank, and both came through, now I have hatched 10 out of 10 of the Jumbo Grizzlies I got from VSB and 7 of those are real strong plants going good, outa the 12 seeds from SOS I got 10 outa 12 hatched, but only 2 sprouts have taken off, now keep in mind that I am a novice and Purple Widow is a hard strain to grow, I blam myself. I still have 22 seeds from SOS and 10 from VSB to go.

Why not buy from the one that pays for this site? :) Herbies is a great company; great genetics and great prices.

I'll have to try herbies next, but I've heard too many bad reviews about Attitude to ever try them just my opinion
Attitude is great, provided you don't bitch to them about your seeds not germing. Take any germination issues up with the breeder, and attitude is just dandy. I'd say they aren't the only ones worth your business though. I'd do some looking around at the strains you pick before you pull the trigger either way. Seedbanks promote seeds. They'll try to sell you what's got the best margin, and that may not be what you want.

Personally I tend to look at strain count.

If a breeder has a million and one strains and the breeder has been around a couple of years the chances are good that their genetics maybe poor.

I look for breeders with only a select few strains.

If it takes you hours to view all their different strains then maybe you should move on.

Stability takes time.

Sickmeds, connoisseur genetics, Gage green genetics, dr greenthumb, og rascal, hazeman. All of these companies have shown me excellent quality with their genetics. Any of the kush varieties from peakseedsbc are easy to grow, half decent yielding, and cheap ($30-40 for 10+ ceeds). Great place to start if you're new and can't afford to be killing expensive ceeds from the other guys.

People are much more prone to write a bad review than a good one. It takes 5 positive emotions to equal 1 negative emotion.
General Motors did a study years ago and found that a satisfied customer tells two people; a dissatisfied customer tells 19.
