Choosing a rosin press

Damn, repress is meh. I can tell what is a bad yield now, it is green and smudges onto the wax paper. Like a dot of yield, not sure why, it was 7gs and was the same press I did not finish, does stopping early mess up yield? Or was I just about done with that press? Also taking my time like 15 mins pressing is this ok?

170-175 works for hash. I feel like the flavor is better the lower the temp.

You're pressing for 15 minutes? Man, I went 2 minutes MAX. I'd imagine pressing that long is going to be hard on equipment
 
It also is burning the rosin a bit id think, this one seemed burned. I dabbed my first made rosin that was like point one that contained some repress and id say I dont like repress but cant tell it was a mess.

It turned black but vaped amazing at first then I over vaped it and it stained the banger bad but it got me lit considering my tolerance and it being like 50% thc or so.

I like it a lot but need to separate the tiers and Qtip the banger a little early if it will be able to vape at all more than once.

Got two bottle necks ready, am trying to make my 4th press like my best one which is 2nd press. It went fast and therefor stayed lighter color. It can bake on the plates. The folded paper might of not helped other than keep it contained if thats not bad.
 
I think my best tier would vape great. Im feeling pretty good already. Taste was great. Il take a photo of overall yield of that last photo, comparing side by side from my best run, wow that second press went so well. Like a gram but this one was like .6ish
 
Pic of silicon has the 3rd run yield overall for that run. This run was two 7g bottle neck. Not sure what to change temps to. I could use some reading up on it but wow it is additcting before you know it I am loading up the next round.

Make bubble.....press that. The plant material turns into a sponge and keeps some of the good stuff. You get a lot more per press also.

I went through about a pound the first month after i got my press. And that was just braincells....A bunch of weed too. :cool:

Bundled up 4th run. I think 1.5 to 2 gs I think I will chill it so I can scale it. I used all 120 micron and dont know if this flower is fit for 160micron. It is either 1 or 3 months old. So I need micron bags already lol Had I planned better I could of had them. I need to figure out how to press kief, like structuring the micron bag. I figure a patty.

My hands are cramping from all the collection. Trying to do one more but with kief. If using 160micron for same flower isnt a bad Idea… I then have 4 more presses I can make haha or two doubles.

I looked into bubble yield as stated a while ago and was bummed with 2% to 5% on a good day but I then searched just that and saw sites state yields up to 15% or more if thats true then I would do it but I have enough to bite on for a while with this haha.
