Anyone ever use or hear of people using chicken poop as nuts? I have chickens and it seems like it may work.

Im running hydro with coco
 
fresh wont work like @ GrowGorilla says, too hot.
chicken poop wont work in hydro, stinking rotting, sludge
composted chicken poop is all I've used for years in plain promix, and water only.
It has every needed nutrient necessary for awesome growth.
composting poop sucks, I now buy mine from Organicare, cost me less than 3 bucks for the life of a plant.

Thanks guys, yeah, i assume using it for hydro would be a huge disaster. i just needed someone to confirm before i did something stupid. :)
 
I've heard some people have used it for chapped lips.. It doesn't do the lips much good, but it sure as hell keeps you from licking'em..
 
I know one old timers recipe is basically horse shit that he lets his chickens play in till they are done and move on. Then he let it sit till the next spring and it is black gold at that point
