Researchers found that chicken manure was as effective as lime in raising soil pH and in reducing aluminum toxicity. The same study suggested that plants were able to absorb more Ca from the manure than from lime.

I have 50l indoor trees I am re potting I want to use my composted manure pellets but am I sure how much to tip dress or mix in to my soil ?
Plants are starving fish and alfalfa isn’t enough they want a kick chicken pellets are for the tree cannabis plants full not just u sure of dose I should use

I don’t use neem as of the aza Chas allergy shit
I use kelp in microbe brews in small quantity’s my amendments are gypsum basalt bran ewc alfalfa etc and a sheeps compost almost 8weeks I know that’s almost gone and tea is keeping me alive
Chicken shit is golden I have 5ft trees in veg

It’s likely that the chicken’s diet plays a role here too. So, who‘s your chicken-shit guy ? Do you have the study to link, by chance?
It’s an organic 4.3.3 9ca which is lab tested regularly for reliable results I wanna know how to apply it I see some big wigs use it but don’t talk about dosage much it’s like seems ya must know already haha
I’m hoping advise from a big wig who does use it

4.5-3-3 + 9% Calcium (N-P₂O₅-K₂O-CaO)
Made from fermented free-range chicken manure it offers organic Nitrogen and a wide range of trace elements plus Calcium. The nutrients are made available to the plant roots through the activity of the soil bacteria and released steadily.

  • With a Humus content of 76% Greenvale will make an important contribution to improving soil structure.
  • Encourages healthy plants that are better able to utilise nutrients and to resist the stress of pests, drought and disease.
  • Offers steady release of all major nutrients together with Calcium for pH maintenance, a broad range of trace elements and humus - a source of mineral nutrients for soil conditioning.
  • Greenvale is produced by aerobic fermentation of chicken manure from free range chickens.
  • Continuous laboratory controlled monitoring is maintained and recorded, ensuring a sterile, safe product.

Agreed but doesn’t really clarify 50l pot
That’s wide broadcasted on allotments etc hehe
Beds n borders wel if my bed is 50-500l 200g could be under or over dosed eh ?
Shrubs n plants could be too but still seems vague

was hoping for a more cannabis applications ratewhich they don’t add
Chick poo can be hot I don’t wanna overdo it or the sodium content

I live on a farm so there is plenty of all kinds of manure. After harvast last year (2021) we dug holes 4 feet dia and 18 inches deep. When we refilled the holes it was a shovel full of compost, shovel full of soil, and a shovel full of manure. The manure is a random mixture of donkey, goat, and chicken.

The chickens have had the run of the pot gardens from harvast until now. That's automatic free nutes, and free weed and bug control.

We got great plants and a big harvast. All I did was water and keep the bugs off.

Hope I did't get too far off track, but I've had my "Wake and Bake".

Thanks. I'm off on a houseplant kick and that wold look nice. The houseplants are mostly just to brighten things up. Not serious grows. I can do this through the winter and not have more plants than the limit.

Your grow looks very nice.

We eat a lot of fresh fruites and veggies. All of the (unsalted) water goes to watering the plants. Every day or two I grind all the kitchen scraps in the food processor and that goes into some soil I'm building from the native garden soil.

The liquid from the ground up stuff goes into the other saver water. Just be careful not to use too much or it might mold. I delute it quite a bit for watering and just use it like any other plant food. That's a lot of good, free nutes.

The chickens are getting only limited access to the gardens now. It's getting too close to planting time and the soil needs a little time to cool off from the manure.

The new soil I'm making is still an experiment. By running the scraps thru the food processor it should decompose faster. The "tea" gets used sparingly. Got to watch out for mold. I've never had any yet but then...
