There was a big thread about the cherry pie from DHN being hermie prone. I believe the nanners it threw were sterile though. However, everyone said the smoke was absolute killer.

I am for sure picking up DHN's Blue Dream. I am still not sure if I should pick up GDP or Purple Cream. All from Harborside. Which one should I pick?lol

I have never flowered the purple cream before, so I can't say...I know I wouldn't, run the ken's cut again.

I cant say for cherry pie although im currently growing , stonerdrifter on here ,12/12 it with i think a week n something veg in 1 gal and got 10 grams, Blue dream ive grow PLENTY of times , 1 of the BEST STRAINS period. good yield ,smell,high, everything is good, ive done a 1 week veg in 1 gallon and got 8 grams some 10-12, ive done 15 day veg and pulled 25-30 grams and my outdoor ive done 24 day veg and yielded a qp average 1 5 oz plant, its the first link on my sig, and my avi pic thats outdoor , comes out FIRE even outdoor, but its very susceptible to spider mites ,thats why its preferably grown indoors, but if you have a good preventive spray (like i do) you shouldnt have problems!

I have a few Cherry Pie clones I will growing outdoors this year and
the Cherry Pies a friend of mine grew up in Arcata outdoors came out killer.
Dense, tasty and potent.
Here is one of a few Blue Dreams I grew out last year and I will keep this strain
alive for more grows cause it is a great strain all around and everyone loves it
that I know. This one turned out 9' x 9' x 9'.

Mainly, yield. Only plant last year that never got big. Got under a pound...for 75 gallons of soil. All the others did what I expected of them
Ken's GDP cut from harborside, unknown nursery.
I ran a reg. GDP cut 3 or 4 years ago,did fine...
Also, if your cherry pie herms outside,please post about it here in the outdoor section

Ha that was a 24 week veg (march - august) but at the end it was well worth it.
The colas were massive fat and very heavy.
Blue dreams are very forgiving, easy to grow and do grow at a fairly fast rate.

I used to run a local Humboldt cherry pie strain in clone only form. The chick I bought clones from tried to breed the CP for seed stock but the result was random without the original traits and some went hermie. The CP strain was pretty good I just got tired of the flavor and the buzz wore off quickly. I still have some jarred up for a rainy day. Last run I tried a cherry bomb seed and it was similar to cherry pie with an OG look not sure what the cross was.
