Picture 005.jpgPicture 004.jpgPicture 006.jpgi have no experience with chernobyl so for me to make any kind of comparrison would be unfounded im growing spacedawg for a nightime - end the day smoke- as i have neuropathy in my feet & right leg as well as lower back problems im trying for a relaxed evening followed by a good nights sleep i have 2 phenos 1 of which i havent grown out & here are pics of the other which reeks of lime slurpee or key-lime pie which im sure will prevail in the cured product ive grown querkle, qrazy train & ace of spades all with very good results & i expect the same for spacedawg subcool hasnt let me down yet which is more than i can say for some other breeders out there here is some pics of my spacedawg in its final stages its kind of a slower finisher for a sub-cool strain [i flipped the light 12/12 dec 9.] but its gonna be good im sure

They all look wonderful. Kane.....you have run both and it sounds like you like Space Dawg better than Chernobyl.

And what is this about a medicated lotion? What conditions are the patients using this lotion for? The idea sounds interesting. I really wish Texas would legalize.....you guys have so many wonderful products we can't even imagine around here. I made a THC infused e-liquid last month with trim from my last Delahaze grow and everyone down here flipped out like it was some revolutionary idea to use pot any way other than smoking it.
every caregiver should try making a batch of medicated lotion for their patients, its actually pretty amazing stuff. one of my patients spent his life designing cars for cadillac. for 30 something years he sculped cars out of clay and his hands have paid the price, he now has arthritis that is so intense it keeps him from sleeping. if he rubs some of my lotion on his hands the pain melts away and he sleeps through the night. what i do is take 1oz of good sugar trim (i use dry trim, not sure how mch wet trim you would need) and put it in the crock pot with 2 cups olive oil, 1 cup grapeseed oil, and 1 cup coconut oil and let it simmer for a few hours. i strain out the trim, add a cup of beeswax to thicken up the mix and add some essential oil of lavender to make it smell nice. i call it super salve and it treats muscle and joint pain.

edit:1oz of dry trim to 4 cups of oil is the bare minimum for strength, at least from my experience with my strains and patients. i have gone as strong as 1oz per cup of oil but the reviews i got didnt change.

Sounds wonderful. I will have to try that. My needs are for neurological tremors, but both of my parents have had neck surgery in the last five years. Can't wait!
Thanks.

Wow, Canna. Where did you get that detailed of info?
I'm confused and don't know which I want again. I would love to try most of TGA's genetics. They all sound wonderful. I know it is not all about THC. The turpines in cannabis are just as important as cannabinoids and thc. I wish the government would allow more medical research to go toward natural remedies, but alas - their just isn't any money in it for them.
I think I am going to purchase during Attitude's Birthday promo, so I still have a few weeks to make my decision.
Either way, I think I will have a winner.....and I will probably buy the other strain in the not too distant future. The hubby and I are talking about making the trip to Colorado in April. I might actually get to try someone else's product then. He wants either Pandora's Box or Vortex to be added to our little group. I don't have room to keep all of what we have now. TGA will probably be replacing some of my current strains, though.
Are either of these strains prone to hermie from light leaks? My set up is not exactly professional and light does leak into my overflowing veg area. Not a single one of my current cuttings will hermie from light - even when I have tried to force it. I was disappointed at the time, but I have decided it is for the best. If and when I ever breed, it will be done the right way.

Ok, Kane told me I needed to try a medicated lotion. So I did just that tonight. Instead of his lotion recipe, I used one I have used before. It included 6 oz sunflower seed oil, 3 oz coconut oil, 1 oz of beeswax and 9 oz of distilled water.....all by weight.

The original recipe was olive or jojoba oil instead of sunflower, but I am in between harvests and I already had sunflower oil infused with cannabis. I couldn't remember how much sugar leaf I used, so I dumped a little over a gram of dry ice hash (Delahaze) in with it. Instead of lavender essential oil, I used a mixture of Wintergreen, Peppermint, and Clove oil. (Mints have high menthol levels which relax muscles, clove increases blood flow to the area and numbs area.)

At first the resulting lotion felt luxurious, more icy than hot, and muscles relaxed quickly - this was probably the mint essential oils. Then the funniest thing happened, after about half an hour I started feeling high. :) All in all, I think it worked great. Quicker reacting and longer lasting than pharma's pain killers. I will have to play with my strength. I think my end product was actually almost too strong, but definitely worth experimenting with. Thank you Kane!

Yay! My first TGA seeds are on their way. Chernobyl was out of stock so my decision was made for me. I gave the hubby a few strains to pick from. He picked Qrazy Train. Can't wait. :)

The pheno hunt may take a while in my little perpetual set up. In flower, I only have room to add one plant every two and a half weeks, but we will have fun.

i have grew the chernobyl strain i tried it i had a buddy who said that marij seeds that was order n growed wasnt potent , now i wanted to prove him wrong so i invited him to try a couple of tokes with me from a dutch master . im going to finsh it with this me n him was so blowed before half the dutch was out.he call me back 3 days later askin to buy a once from me with a very good price i told him im sorry but i smoke i have paranoia issues n it helps me very well to ease my mentals. he told me it was the best he ever had. n i only dried it for 9 days. it didnt even take that long to bud but my end results was at least 5 1/2 onces less than 2 1/2 months under a 600 watt hps with additional 1 cfl blub regular potting soil with extra perlite mix n 5 gallon pot. aluminium foil sidings n a good overhead reflector but the review with that strain is awesome n it was a sample seed

Hi there, thought I'd pass on my thoughts. I just finished a TGA grow and found a keeper pheno of Space Dawg. I'm an ice hash smoker/maker and the hash from this girl is fruity with a marzipan (almond) exhale. This is the perfect smoke for me because it is heavy on the indica side and does not give me an annoying head buzz (in a bad way) and is super for night time although I smoke it thru the day. Really love this strain.

I think it sounds like the sativas (aka: Heart racing etc) might be up your alley. Isn't THC-V supposed to have some really fantastic neuroprotective qualities as well? You might find yourself surprised.

If I were you I'd be looking at running some high CBD strains as well as some strong sativas (possibly pure like a pure Haze from Tom Hill or Ace) and a few plants high in myrcene (I can't comment on what lines this is in, but it is related to the sedative effects as far as I know, as well as of course CBN).

I'd try just about anything if I were you, I wouldn't limit myself. You could find something very surprising.

Ok boys, it sounds like both are loved. Chernobyl was out of stock at the 'tude when I made my order, so I bought 5 pks of Space Dawg and Qrazy Train. I germinated all 5 Space Dawgs, 3 came up fine, one looks a bit deformed (but I'll give it a chance), and one came out of the soil root up (didn't make it). We shall see what comes of these babies. :)

After Space Dawg, Mr. Nice gets a run in the veg room. I have to decide between ASH and Black Widow.....another difficult choice. :)
