The only thing I didn't do was cross with them them the afghani. Where did you get the Ice from and how did you like it?..

I got 10 from Nirvana and have 3 flowering atm just over a month in...

i was hoping you might have some pics of what yours looked like so i can cross referance...

I also got some Aurora Indica from them, but the 4 seeds i tried never popped so im gonna wait till next year...

Marijuana Seeds Super specials Seeds at the low prices

I got the super strong marijuana seed pack from here. The Ice and the WW I got came out excellent. They chrystal plant that they sent me wasn't the right seeds. I ended up with a pure sativa plant where chrystal is supposed to be mostly indica.

But the Ice was my favorite strain because it finished before the WW and had just as much trichs. I love the ICE!! No pics sorry.. Shoot me a PM if you want me to explain the plant some more!

Hey Cheetah,

You know me, I'm newb as hell, but after re-reading this I have some thoughts/questions.

In my grow, one of my plants seemed to be out growing the other in height (both turned out to be females.) But then after about a month and a half, the shorter plant actually out grew the taller in height. I thought then that people should be careful about culling plants based on how tall their plants are growing early on, because if I had done that, I may have missed out on the 3 footer I have going (while the other one is only 2 feet.)

But now that I have the plants budding, the shorter one has the same number of buds in a smaller area, meaning that more buds are getting a lot more light than the taller one as the light falls off drastically towards the bottom of the plant. So the one that grew the most at first (but then stayed short) may well be the biggest producer, but I can't tell yet. I'm going to make sure to keep the two plants buds seperate so I can tell which one out performed the other.

But this experience (along with Al B. Fuct's monster thread on getting a crop every two weeks) has convinced me that probably short plants are the way to go. You get more buds closer to the light and so far from what I can tell so far, bigger buds. Al B. Fuct intentionally keeps his plants short (0 days vegging) AND he only keeps the main cola cutting off every other branch and bud (SOG style) so that all of the buds are nice and close to the light without any fan leaves to shade lower buds, which even under the best scenarios, are kinda junky anyways. He said that with Sogging, the plants focus all of the energy on the cola (which they mostly do anyways) and you get the same amount of weed if not more because the cola bud grows bigger and denser.

I just wanted to get your thoughts on this (since you've been through a harvest.) What were your bottom buds like? What is your criteria going to be when selecting the 'best' two femmes?

youll probably find that the shorter one will do better.
That is the big issue with pheno types, Even though they are from the same strain, those plants are so different because they show different phenos.
Id be willing to bet that the shortest one when finished flowering had the closest node spacing in between the leaf sets.
Ive found that the more squashed the plant is on itself between the nodes the better they preform.

My Plants Yes Are Six Foot Tall And Four Foot Around Plus, I Have The Space... But Even At This Big, The Bottom Buds Are Damm Near Like As Big And Ripe As The Cola's... Db. And Then Theres' Topping, Witch I Do As Well. I Contribute The Vert Grow To This Extra Weight. Ive Seen Giant Selve Systems Sournd A 1000-2000w System, U Opened A Shelf Like A Door Or Walked The Outer Edge To Treat Plants. Was Crazy, Jmt's
