cheese quake TGA

Looks like you have the Querkle pheno. I got a couple of those, along with a really Exodus Cheese leaning pheno. I ended up keeping a pheno that was close to a 50/50, maybe leaning a tad bit more to the cheese side. Longer and thinner sativa looking leaves with a much taller structure and bigger internodal spacing. I found that the Querkle phenos had a really nice grapey smell, but it did not translate to taste at all, and the high was mediocre at best.

thanks stow so were you not impressed in the high then?
any ideas on its stretch in flower? if its the querkle dom i read somewhere it barely stretches, can you confirm this?

Ok so some updates with pics to follow

right well i was training and bending... and i accidentally snapped a leader..... so i thought i would see if i could use it as a clone and just see if it survives..i doubt it but we will see

i have no experience with clones... i have no rooting hormone.. or cloning gel, clonex or anything like that

So i took the casualty and i cut the stem at a 45 degree angle then roughed up the outer edges of the stem....then I stuck it in some soil/compost ive had sitting about from my veg garden.
After given it a bit too much water the pot was wholly saturated and the soil like swamp mud ha oops i covered it with a tatty plastic bag and to help keep humidity in and placed it in my only cab under the red cfls on 12/12

So it wasnt looking promising for my clone... no specialist equipment no propagator, no cloning gel or rooting hormone just a mediocre compost....too much water and a plastic bag ha...

however here she is still alive 4 or five days later and she hasnt drooped once.. i hardly believe it... she has started to show pre-flowers... being in my cab under red cfls on 12/12 with a plastic bag on top to help keep in humidity.... ha such a bodge but its worked...

now obviously.. success rate and speed of recovery maybe/will be improved with all the equipment and solutions.... but this does go to prove that it can be done with literally just a healthy plant and some good soil... no special techniques or equipment needed really

The high was just OK, and the grape smell did not come through in the taste. It was a pretty squat plant with a HUGE central cola. There will be quite a few variations with polyhybrids, so grow her out and see what you have. I wouldn't get thrown off by other peoples experiences. You may just have a great plant on your hands.

Stow yeah true man and i kind of like the fact polyhybrids have so much variation... but can also see the down sides... do you think the taste could of come through with a long cure? or do you think yours just didnt have the taste

Also what you might consider ok..... might blow my head of as the weed sucks round here
mostly get badly grown, un flushed, un cured, dried wrong "blues" or "pukka haze" at sometimes 0.8 for a 10's.. i could go on i hate the weed around here but i love smoking bongs

so some sweet stinky homegrown, 100% organic, cheese quake could be the best thing i have smoked yet

Haha right. The weed around here isnt the greatest either. Looks good, cost high but the potent isnt there and it smells good but always taste of hydro junk. My home grown carmelo whoops on it, smells like crazy and is potent. I had a guy offer me 450 a oz lol I refused though of course

jesus 450!!! man... you not have the luxury of a dispensary near you then? or do you mean he offered you it for an oz of carmelo... sounds similar to my experiences when you do get hold of something that looks good... it either doesnt have the taste..interesting about it tasting like hydro junk what do you mean by that? or the high sucks.

ok update time....... she has well and truly hit her stride now..... although seems to be starting to show some signs of maybe a little too much nitrogen in the mix, as i can see a little clawing...... but we will have to wait and see........might mean i wont get a nice fade like i was hoping so may affect the taste a bit but this games all about trial and error and am i having fun learning ha...

as you can see though she is still happy happy and really starting to stretch hope i have time it right and dont run out of space

My clones not looking very happy right now so fingers crossed with that too.... not expecting much with it to be honest but would be nice to have an extra couple of buds if it works haha

I judst went through some high nitrogen problems just water 2 times w ro water and signs of improvement are showing.

No dispensary within 100 miles and im not in legal parts so prices for great shit here is $140 a quarter usually. Redic lmao

What I mean by hydrojunk is it tastes like the weed was grown with chemjcals and burned black.

only 3rd run..first one with this strain.. first one with a decent soil recipe but still think there may be a little too much N only time will tell
