i have been running into the same issues (at least by appearance) too, I never even considered to much light (but I also increased my lumen output). please keep us up to date on what results you see, they look to good for it to be a multitude of problems.

Those are some frosty little buds, man! Nice!

When my legal issues are resolved, I'm making a very large TGA & Barneys Farm order... ... and probably some Reserva Privada OG Kush... ... and maybe some serious AK47, BUT ANYWAYS!!! I'll be putting Cheese Quake on my list of new crops to try.

Subcool said he and Mz.Jill got all twisted from it. I believe his exact words were,"...
both MzJill and myself get really high after smoking it to the point of impairment and that's unusual for us." ... That was enough to talk me into it. Haha.

Hi shifty1

I have looked at every thing including replacing my PH pen.The lighting seems to be the only thing left.Only time will tell.

and yes,it's good to be back in the game.

You say you cant figure out the problem hm? Does it seem like a lockout or heat stress? Because I know Root Aphids can cause phantom lockouts... :) BTW I love the colors on those buds looking fantastic.

Hi ptone

It's not Aphids thats for sure. It's either heat stress or over dosing with nutes.Pesonaly I think it's more along the lines of to much light.I think the plants can't take up enough food for energy and are looking for more water than any thing else.

Got it fixed yet?

I was having this problem slightly in veg on older leaves till I moved my plants outside so I assume it was too much light.

I find that TGA strains can't handle P/K boosters so it could be that too.

but to the extent that yours are affected I would think it's nute burn...

1000W in a 7x7x7 isn't too much light, I'd actually argue that its too little light! I'm running a 1000W HPS in a 4.9x4.9x6.2ft area with no lighting issues at all. That looks like it's a nute lock out, which could be because of your extended veg time. Did you flush them before they went into flower? If not, I'd say that you are seeing nute lockout (too much salt buildup from the extended veg time, coupled with you adding more nutrients on top of it), maybe coupled with the ph being outta whack. I know you are checking the ph going in, but have you checked the run off? I'd say check the runoff ph first. If thats in a good range (6.5-7.0), then I would say its toxic salt buildup and you should flush your medium with double the amount of water, and use a clearing solution (FloraKleen, Clearex, ect.) too for better results.

Yeah, I just did the conversion for your watts per sq foot in your room, and the math tells me that it's def not a light issue! A flowering grow room should have between 30-60 watts/sq ft, for grow room efficiency. To get your watts per sq foot just multiply length x width of your grow area, and take that and divide into your watts. So 7x7=49sq ft 1000/49=20.4 watts/sq ft! You are waaaay under how much light your area should have. hell, you could throw another 1000 w in there and it would bring you up to 40 (which is still a little low IMO, but much better). I like to try to shoot around 50 watts/sq ft. This def leads me to believe its one of the other problems that I mentioned, but who knows for sure, keep us updated!

i prefer a 4x8 for 1 1000 on a light mover i stick a second 4x8 right next to it with another 1000 on a light mover so every 4x4 has 62 watt per sqft

gorgeous no burn i leave enough venting for it to move and stuck a vortex on the vent system for the 2 lights my temps right now are 82 on 65 off my humidity is 38-48% the light movers had some kings in the begining but ones i figured out what i was doing wrong it was like butta

Ocanabis, Are things back on track yet...? meaning have you gotten to the source of your problem...?
Tried your 'control your canabis(BB)' thread, and so far so good..That was you, right...? ATB!

Hi Chippy

I am aware of the lighting foot print.
I tried to run (2) 1000 watter's but I couldn't pull the heat from them with my current exhaust. So I tried a 1000 & a 600 watt and it was better but still a bit warm.day temps were around 82 to 84 df.

I look's lke a nute lock out from the PH being to low. When I tested the run off a couple of the gals were 5.8 while others were 6.0.I have been flushing the plants out like a crazy mofo.I have managed to get the PH to 6.5 now as of this week.
The sad part is the gals are at about 50 days now and probably will harvest around 60 to 65 days.So there's not a lot I can do about it now.

The flowers are starting to fill out now and every day they look a bit fatter.
I'll keep you posted.
Thanks for every one's imput

Ocan.

Yeah when your that far into flower, I ususally just don't even worry about it anymore.

I know that Cheese Quake is gonna dank regardless of the problems! I'm gonna be picking up a pack from sac on monday along with jillybean (one of my fav TGA strains).

Also, I don't think 82-84 is that high of a temp. Here in nor cal we get pretty hot summers, and usually as a rule I don't like it to get over 85, and once it hits 87 then I def know for sure that the AC's gotta go on. They say that over 85 and growth stops completely, so I try not to let it go above that.

Can't wait to see the harvest!
