I have this northern lights that I have been kind of experimenting with. I have kept it in its original 4" pot since it has germinated. I wanted to see if a 4" pot would be able to grow it for 2 months. Well its been 2 months now, it seems to have stopped growing, this may be due to limited root space...not too sure. I would feed it and then flush with 1 liter of water every night. At 2 weeks of age I started feeding it every second watering with 1/4 strength 20-20-20. At 3 weeks I upped the dose to 1/2 strength and used for every watering. At 1 month I was up to full strength every watering about 4 times a day. 5 weeks 1 and 1/4 strength 4 times a day. and so on. right now its 2 months and it gets 2 times strength 4 times a day.
I could probably keep doing this but I am not going to be able to water it and take care of it as I was doing. I'll probably transplant it into a 3 gallon pot or something. It still hasn't showed sex. Also again maybe because of such a small root mass. Hopefully its a female.
Anyways just wanted to show yaz what kind of progress I have made with this experiment. Too bad I cannot keep this up.
