I have 2 pictures here. The first picture is of my plant just 2 days ago lifeless and I was struggling for a while trying to figure out why my plant was just progressively looking worse.

Answer: CO2

I just added a couple home made CO2 bottles only a few hours ago. Look at the difference. I'm amazed. Enough said. See for yourself.

Since any residential building has plenty of co2 in the air, I'm skeptical that caused the change.

The only way a homemaid Co2 would do this is if your not giving them air and their starving to breath

I think it was the added picture of Catalina Island that saved your seedling... everyone knows plants just loooove Catalina Island! I'm putting miniature pictures in ALL my flower pots from now on!

I used a soil with a lot of wood chips like that and it killed my mothers. Watering problems (due to the media being half absorbent and half repellent) and I also had mushrooms growing out. Clone those and go spend an extra $10 on some good happy frog soil or whatever. Way less headache and you dont even have to give em nutes for a long time. Good Luck.

depending on your growing experience pre nuted soil can be a really bad thing...some soils run too hot for inexperienced growers and should be avoided unless your a seasoned grower with time and grows under your belt. bongsmilie
