check out this kief box I made!

hey dirtsurfer sheer curtains ??? is it like linen material, kinda like the material in the bottom of a bubble bag, thats what I was hoping to find but no luck until now, thank you

220.00 where are you shopping? I have a three tier keif box I bought from Canada about that size for 70.00 and its not a cheapy. But good job on that DIY

I'm interested! Damn good idea, I have been constructing something similar in my head! So, did I interpret your post correctly? Because you had all the materials on hand, other than the fabric...you built this for .99 cents. How did you pick your fabric, with a thread count? Ok, I will stop pickin your brain, thanks for sharing!

the cost would be low even if you have to buy the materials first. the most expensive part of this project was the super glue and spray kicker (super glue instant set, usually found at hobby shops).

I used discount fabric from a local craft store, it was a bridal veil material, very strong, I tried ripping it with my bare hands and scratched the hell out of it with my nails at the store and it stood up with no blemishes. been using this material in my original box for a couple months now and I break up stems and whatnot over the screen and I have had no issues with holes or runs or tears.

I know I said I would put up a DIY months ago, but I swear I will be putting one up soon. I plan on making a large batch of these over the weekend and will post up some photos and instructions and the exact building materials. Thanks for all the compliments everyone.

I also plan to sell these for $50 local pickup or $65 shipped CONUS. I'll be putting them up on my local craigslist to supplement being laid off from work for a few months (seasonal work). If you have a custom size in mind PM me and I'm sure we can work something out.
