well when people offer rebuttals with no offer of new information, or claim new information that is dissonant to what is known and experienced it can spark some controversy, which is the nature of this plant.

I read the whole thread it's only 2 pages ffs, If you answered without condescending comments or tone, I nor others would have replied how we replied. Getting your point across isn't strictly stating facts, there is something called subtlety which should be used when you communicate on forums or places where people don't know you. Otherwise, regardless of how much you know, people won't listen or grasp what you're trying to communicate.

i would agree with the one in a thousand, though strain and genes with known phyllotaxis will have higher chances.

it's just not a big deal, and it's not novel. if you search three leaf mutant, triploid, trifoliated, whorled phyllotaxy, or more yield with extra node, you will find many posts and threads right here on riu. many more on cancom and icmag.

in a hundred run i once had over twenty, don't remember the cross. godbud x something.

I had like 5 of these from the same mother from seed. I think if one pollin chucks or breeds they will find its not as rare as people claim and it seems to be more common with certain f1 crosses ect.
However in my case, i only had 2 males out of 5 and while they were rather heavy yielding, the phenos sucked balls so bad i gave away the beans lol

while not a mutant from seed I've discovered an interesting way of topping and pruning accidentally to get the plant to grow like this.

pity I don't have better light penetration with CFLs
