No, you can keep the molasses. It just seems like you are going to flood her out. I can't believe she wants a gallon a day at that stage.

Just giver her that gallon of water when she wants it over the next two weeks. Don't just water the heck out of it. When she's thirsty, she will drink.

Molasses does not make the weed sweet.

you're probably right.. maybe I should decrease the amount of water im using. I never really thought about it, but it makes sense. I think I'm going to not water her the last 2-3 days though.. is this dangerous? im talking about in optimal conditions(optimal conditions to me, means no rain, decent sun, and dry soil in a day or so)

No, right before harvest, it's okay to let her dry out. Like a senior citizen, it takes less and less to keep them going..... until the final hurrah.

I HAVE heard of the benefits of using molasses, but I've also heard that it contributes a sweeter taste to your buds, I've never done it before so I don't have experience with this.
I know it is common for Indoor plants to drink atleast a gallon to a gallon and a half of water each day
there are several grow journals on ROLLITUP where the people have used that method, and too much water shouldn't result in anything but good tasting weed, just don't soak your colas or you could have mould problems, but you probably already know that.
In the last weeks before Harvest, just keep an eye on them and give them what YOU think they need, and nothing MORE.
and harvest will be GREAT!!!

Molasses has a lot of basic components that plants like.... that's all. Any perceived sweetness is from better buds. The sweetness you taste in the molasses does not transfer into the taste of the buds. The plant has it's own way of doing things.

thank you CJ! i'm going to be having extra-special fun for the next 5 or 6 weeks :peace:

i've never pulled or manicured a plant as big as this. i'd estimate a good 2 or 3 hours committed solely to trimming. thanks to everyone for their support, and a special thanks to you CJ. i know forum posts don't translate into knowledge, but you have both my friend.

U R welcome of course! I have a certain dog which just loves weed. I finally convinced her last year to not eat anything on the plant but any "fall off's" were hers.

Then last year at trim time... she was in hog heaven. Like a kid running after snowflakes with the tongue a waggin'.

Now she is so disciplined about it. Hits the leaves on the ground with surgical accuracy. I trimmed a few 4 weeks ago, and now she is eyeing the rest.... she knows what's coming... I don't know who is more excited at chop time... me or her...

It's so true. If ppl just slow down and take the time to get on their level now and again.... amazing things happen.

I walk them every day without fail around some of my acreage. If one lags behind (usually rabbit poo)... I wait for them up the trail a bit. Just the look on their face when they turn the curve and see that I'm sitting down actually waiting on them without barking out a command.... a look of pure joy.... they literally dance when I get up... He's waiting for ME!!

yes, I love all animals. they are all special. I have always wanted a koala, or a sloth. something slow, and chill. know what I mean? I'd love to give my koala a monocle, and chill next to him smoking my sticky, while he's chilling in his eucalyptus tree, baked in his own way :blsmoke:

how many acres do you have? that's awesome. I would love to give my dogs a large, safe area to run around in, or walk around with me in. I have a mini collie, otherwise known as a sheltie, and I bought him when he was just old enough to be sold, out on a ranch in the country. his momma and daddy had sooo much space to run around. He runs around in circles in my back yard a lot, because of the lack of room. I need to take him out to the country, I would love to take him back to see his parent pups

I have several properties, but where I live I only have two parcels with houses. My first home is on 10+ acres, 5 of which is a mature oak hammock. The other house is on 3 acres but is in a community of 3800 acres with only about 150 homes in it. We have 50 miles of trails and 15 miles of road, all private. Very secluded. You can imagine the wildlife since the community is adamant about everyone having a very small footprint. No clearing allowed... woods are sacred here.

damn. you must be very successful, or were very successful at one point in your life. or that's one hell or an inheritance! that sounds like an awesome community. around where I live, the only secluded neighborhoods have upward of million dollar houses and a lot of evenly paved roads, and a bunch of unnecessary medians. with little to no trees/wildlife. Everywhere else that has trees, or wildlife(only including squirrels, really. and some birds) is usually littered with some young teen's beer trash, or metal parts that fall out of some crack-head scrappers truck on the way to turn in their copper they found. I need to move soon, I would love to have acres. I need to stretch my legs, know what I mean? :blsmoke:

damn those buds are so fat
thank you droman, I was very surprised by the buds. I guess this grow wasn't exactly so much a Sativa haha. I can't wait to check out the finished product from this hybrid :peace:
