Check out Greenleafs Lucas formula. You can also use MaxiBloom from start to finish. Both products seem to be about the same. 1tsp a gal

It depends on whether you plan on going hydro or soil. If you're going soil, just get worm castings or chicken shit, and a bag of limestone.

If you're going hydro, check out jack's professional 2 part dry hydroponic mix. Part A is just calcium nitrate. Part B is everything else.

Cropking also has a similar cheap 2 part system where 1 part is calcium nitrate and the other is the rest of the formula. Also, they have individual salts to make your own formula.

Their 2 part system is called hydro-gro. Looks like you can get 5 pounds of "hydro-gro" (part B), and of calcium nitrate (part A) as a kit for 20 dollars. That will last a really long time by itself.

Yes, the calcium nitrate between jacks and hydro-grow are interchangable. They're the same thing so you could mix and match.

I like solutions like this not only because they're cheaper, but also because they're less full of shit.. I mean come on.. How could you get less bullshit than making part A straight up calcium nitrate? It's almost as if they're following some sort of standards.

For 10 bucks, he could get 1 pound of part A (calcium nitrate) and of part B (hydro-gro) kit and for 2 plants, that'd last for multiple grows.

..and probably kick AN's ass in the process.

edit: misread 2 weeks as 2 plants. still probably enough to get through more than 1 grow even if he had 10 plants.

looking around $30 budget I'll even have to buy them 1 each week. I will be growing in FFOF. I'm not gonna buy a meter thing because no $$. Is that bad?

Oh ya... also.... I pretty much want something I can mix in a pop bottle and then let it sit. And use when I need to feed. Do I check ph b4 each feed? Or will the ph not change while sitting?

If you're using FFOF, you shouldn't use nutrients meant for hydroponics.

You'd be better off with just a general 10-10-10 or 30-20-30 ferts off the shelf from any gardening store, as long as it gets most of its N from urea.

Or use worm castings.

Jack's Classic 20-20-20 for veg and Blossom Booster 10-30-20 for flower and a bag of dolomite lime, all for under $30. Those 2 are called the Dynamic Duo on the Jack's site. The lime is ~$4 at HD or Lowes.

If you are so broke, why are you buying such an overpriced soil mix like FFOF? Look at Kelloggs also at HD or Lowes. About 1/5 the cost of FF.

Blue Planet Nutrients! You can get the 2part for only 20 bucks (for both together). Its easy to use, has lots of calcium so you'll probably not need cal-mag, and its super affordable. I use the BPN 3 part but my buddy uses the 2 part and has killer harvests. Follow the feeding chart and it tells you how to combine the two parts for optimal nutrition for all stages. I never have any deficiencies and am real happy with them. Been running with their nutes for the past 2 years after I left AN (before that was on GH and before that Fox Farms).

$20 and its all you need from start to finish. Awesome nutes! http://www.blueplanetnutrients.com/index.php?option=com_rokecwid&view=ecwid&Itemid=190#!/~/product/category=1353110&id=5492965

If you decide to go organic, use espoma plant tone. It' s cheap as hell and its like a 2tb top dress per month of veg.

When I was at the hydro store I swore I seen a bag for like 8bucks. I didn't buy it but I could be wrong about the price. If its expensive then I'm going to be looking for something mad cheap.
