Hi everyone, this is just something i wanted to post just to show how thrifty and creative you can be with a grow box. I put this together for next to nothing, and very little time and effort.
Im new to growing and have been doing some research on RIU taking in as much info as i possibly can, im currently working on my first grow and made a pretty cool grow box and just wanted to show off my stealthy box. Pretty much i just taped, stabled and screwed some boxes together to make a 1-2 plant grow room.

I just hollowed out the tops and bottoms of the paper boxes, so that its one chamber all the way from top to bottom. i lined the insides of all the boxes with an emergency blanket i got from walmart, and the bottom box is just painted flat white with some $.96 spray paint. you cant really tell from the outside of the box (unless you were looking from behind) that theres anything pluged into it. all the wiring is run up the back. theres only two light fixtures that are actually a part of the box and an insert with two more fixtures i can use to section off different "rooms" in the box.

i dont believe i have a picture from the bottom all the way to the top and my grow has lights out, so ill try and remember to post more pics later showing the whole chamber opened completely up.
not shown is the air scrubber im putting on it. i plan to use Wolfman Zen's DIY walmart carbon filter, https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/101248-best-diy-ez-walmart-carbon.html, i had an idea like it and once i saw it i knew that had to be attached. so as of right now there is no intake or exhaust. once i get this system added i will post pictures.
the last thing i have are some inserts made to surround the grow for more light reflection. im assuming that with all the light reflection i can get away with only the two bulbs.

soooooo, thats my growbox for now untill im able to dedicate more time and better security to my grows, im only growing for person use so im not worried about growing too big, as i posted it is a micro growbox, and i believe its pretty stealth.... question is do you??

i have a crude light and moisture reader that i use and also a temp and humidity gauge from walmart.
my light gauge maxes out at 20,000?? im guessing thats lumins...??!!?? anyways when its in the box it maxes out so im happy with that. the temp stays between 65-75 F and humidity can range from 40-60 %, ive seen it get down to 20 and i havent let that happen since (cardboard really pulls moisture out of the air). so far so good, ill try and post some more pics tomorrow before the lights go out. thanks again and hope you enjoy!!
