Cheap Co2 Monitor/Controller?

I picked up a couple tanks and regulator the other day and now I'm looking for a cheap co2 controller. All I need it to do is monitor the co2 and keep it steady. I'm going to put my exhaust fans on a timer to turn on for 15 minutes every hour or so. Anybody have any experience with a cheap unit that will do this? Any help or links would be much appreciated. Thanks :blsmoke:

how much u want to spend?
As little as possible hopefully. I was looking at the c.a.p. Ppm-4 controller and it seems to do what I'm looking for for around $200. I was just trying to find out if there was another decent one I didn't know about or haven't seen yet.

I'm just trying to save some cash because after this harvest I'm planning on upgrading to one that controls co2, fans, exhaust, etc. I mean, either way if I have to spend the money then I just have to, no big deal.

Cool thanks, I'm going to upgrade after this harvest so I'm just looking for something to get me through until then. When I said cheap I didn't mean like dirt cheap lol  I know even the "cheap" ones are expensive, I just figuredaybe some were better for the money. When I upgrade I'm thinking about going with sentinel. What model do you have?

Your entire post is confusing. You want cheap. Cheap ones are not better for the money. Cheap ones may or may not work.

simply google CO2 controllers and do a cost comparison.

uuum chhc something something something... its the total environmental controller, cant remember the exact model number. When you do invest in one that's more expensive you'll probably wanna go with a burner too. cause a tank used with that i noticed lasted like 6-7 days. that's at 1500 ppm in a sealed room with an ac

Yes, if you read my post, I'm asking if anyone has experience with a cheap co2 controller that will do what I want. I didn't just say "can someone google a cheap co2 monitor for me?". I'm looking for other people who have used cheaper co2 monitors and could give an opinion on if a particular one is decent or if there are ones to stay away from.

Ok thanks. I was planning on moving to a burner too, a buddy of mine uses one because he had the same problem with his tank. He said he was spending so much on co2 that after a couple months the burner basically paid for itself. His room is a lot bigger than mine though, I only have 12 plants and he has a whole big, elaborate medical grow going on

I read your post.

You want a good CO2 controller and you dont want to spend any money on it...

In addition, you dont want to google CO2 controllers and see which ones are in your price range and ask about a specific one...

My answers are a reflection of the amount of work you appear to want to put into this issue.

Lol thanks for the input. It's very helpful, then again I knew there would be at least one negative smartass post. Look at the post above yours....THAT is what I was looking for and the kind of answer I appreciate. Good day.
