Cheap canadian alternative to Secret Jardin tents.

I was in the market to pick up a grow tent and I found the only tent offered locally was the Secret Jardin tent line. By all means a geat product from everything I read about them, but for the price range I was aiming towards I wouldn't even be able to fit in the tent myself (not that I need to, just a size comparison). So I went online and the SJ tents were the same price + S&H... I spent much time trying to find a good sized quality looking product for a decent price and after many google searches I came across the Quictent Mylar grow tent. For $135 CDN I got a 4'x4'x6.5' tent with D shaped front door and dual side hatches. Vents ranging from 4-8", 6" and 8" are adjustable down to 4".

I haven't tested it for leaks yet, have to wait for my gf to zip me up inside... I'll update that by Friday at the latest.

I have 2 secret jardin DR120 4x4x7 tents. i'll say they are well built constructed, sturdy, plenty of 8" vent openings, ect. BUT......they have ALOT of light leaks everywhere. im glad I paid a premium for a high quality tent that has light leaks at every zipper area, every seam area, every vent seam stitching areas. I had to fully enclose my flower tent (all sides, and roof) with 6mil black contractors plastic sheeting to light proof the flower tent. the flower tent in question is brand new, never been used, and still has light leaks everywhere.

i have a DR240w, and i can say it also has light leaks that i used black duct tape to seal. I bought mine used on cl for $200 US. So I'm not gonna complain too much. It's $795 new... I got a good deal. I wish it had more 6" vent holes... Tonight I have to cut one into the top to improve the efficiency of my light fan, (i pull fresh air in thru my lights to keep em cool, and my Mentor has determined i have too many 90 degree bends, this will eliminate 2 bends, +40% efficiency back. what a chore tho.

I'm not sure the weight limit on the pipes, I can hang myself off the ceiling bars for a second without it giving and I'm 200 lbs so I'd say it can prob hold 100-150 fairly safely... I'm not sure but I think I may have lucked out. I went to check the seller out and see if I could find the weight specs and the price is now $535 for the exact tent I bought only days ago. Maybe they messed up on the price and had to honor what they advertised?

Did you by any chance get this off http://www.solasolu.com I was thinking of purchasing one myself. If that's the one, please let me know what you think of it.
They look fairly Similar, the pipes look to be the same and the vents all match up and it has the same ceiling hangers... But I can see that there are differences, Mine has leather triangles on every corner keeping it from stretching at the stitching. Also every zipper in mine cannot be seen from the inside, there are overlapping layers of Mylar covering every seam inside.

The last I looked they had the price raised by $400, hopefully this is just a typo... I can PM you the sellers page
