Does anyone have a good place to get some cheap bag seeds? I am puting together my first grow and would like to grow a nice Indica and don't want to spend a pile of money while learning the basics.

I don't have any personal conections that allow me to aquite any seeds locally.

Any thoughts?

Are you gonna order seeds online? If not you could buy a cheap bag of regs and pick the seeds out of that. Otherwise try attitude seeds or the single seed center

I definitely planned on ordering them online. I have been looking at nirvana, and attitude for seeds but it seems at minimum I will be spending around $40 dollars on very few seeds. With that being said though, I will only be growing 3-4 ladies at a time.

Would it be more time efficient(i.e. electricity and time) to go ahead and buy 5 feminized seeds for higher cost instead of waiting for the plant to sex and potentially be starting over from scratch?

*also - Another problem, I don't have anyone around that I can buy ANYTHING from.

you could also try canibis seeds .com they are just as good but not as big of selection but the $ is rite and ive had all seeds grow from there.

Ah, thanks for the canibis seed .com plug. I have looked at them before but wasn't sure if they where reputable or not. Has anyone else done buisness with them by chance and had a good outcome?

Wowzers, those ladies had better just grow golden buds... Isn't that a little excessive for a seed...

Try KC Brains. You can get 10 regular seeds for less than $20. They aren't really talked about on this forum in my experience, but they used to be pretty popular like 10-12 years ago, and some of their strains apparently have won some international awards. And their still good genetics too. Also, i dont know if you know this but if you live in the states, you have to add $24 dollars to whatever the cost of the seeds are just for international & guaranteed shipping. Dont forget to put 420 as the coupon code for 10% off (at attitude seeds).

Some purists say they'll never use feminized seeds because of the way their created. Saying that because they were made from hermie parents that the hermie trait never leaves the seed and you'll end up with more hermies than viable females. This for the most part isn't true anymore. We now know that environmental factors affect the chance of getting hermies more than the seeds.
Regular seeds create pure females, but environmental factors can make a pure female a hermie too, it's just a lot harder. Regular seeds are cheaper and more stable, but out of five, theres a chance that all of them could be male.
In a well designed grow room, you shouldn't have any issues with feminized seeds. If your short on room, id say go with fem seeds.

Cool, well with all that being said, does anyone have a suggestion to which strain to start with. I would prefer an indica because of their natural heartiness. At Nirvava I found a strain called Aurora, it seemed hat it would be a great strain to start with. Its short, can be feminised, and relatively strong.

What do you fine folks think?

You don't buy bag seeds man you get them from bags you buy. If you want good service and good strains stick with attitude seed bank or nirvana.

As others have said - you get what you pay for. Just consider the energy (and money) you'll be putting into growing these girls... spending a few extra £'s or $'s on your seeds will pay dividends in the end. Also consider your yield - pay a bit more and your yield could increase by 100% compared to cheap seeds.

I don't think where you buy them is as important as who the original producer of the seeds is... long as you know the supplier isn't skanking you with claiming the seeds are something they aren't!

You will come out better with feminized seeds. Or just stop by my house I have plenty of bag seeds, just don't think it is what you are looking for. GoodLuck:bigjoint:
