Yep, and its USD $11. He said he would break them into tray quantities but then they are $16 a piece.
Wow that's some serious number of cobs even at that price.
I calculated a lazy 900K lumens or there about's running at 1050ma for that lot. ... Here come's the sun...

Can I veg and flower with the same cob light? All of the vids and threads that I've seen use 3500k or higher. I want to build an all-in-one from seed to harvest light.

Thanks! I have a 2x2x4 tent and need to upgrade the light (have a cheap Chinese blue-red led panel right now. Still trying to wrap my head around using so little wattage with great yields.

Which Mingfa heat sink is that? I am currently considering 2 of theirs for my 1212's? How long did it take to get them; I have been quoted 3 weeks?

dunno when i will get one assembled ....
i am in fishing mode but they are enticing i was able to remove the cob without it breaking..now
i just need wire and screws
.i have a temp gun so i will at least be able to get some kind of reading..
those other brand multi tiny pin sinks may be better..yeh the prices are good
the service was good..they are sturdy

These are what I got digitizing the charts. I literally did the 3000K 90CRI last night, although like I said privately it was so buried on the chart I didn't think it would be all that accurate. But I was thinking about buying some 90 CRI 3000K CLU028s...anyway:

3000K 80 CRI:

So I was right, not as accurate on the 90CRI. Off by ~1.5%. But the 80 is really good, fraction of a percent difference between real and actual numbers. That's great.

If you have the rest of the SPD data I will update my spreadsheet/simulator front end with more accurate data. I planned on starting a thread with that info sometime soon, more accurate data would be welcome.

Oh this also means we can accurately compare umol/J between 80CRI and 90CRI according to more official numbers.

At 2250mA, 117W:

80 CRI 149lm/W is 45.5% efficient, 2.21 umol/j
90 CRI 123lm/W is 43.4% efficient, 2.1 umol/j

I got closer numbers at 3500K, almost identical, hopefully they are fairly accurate. But it looks like 3000K 80 CRI is about 5% more efficient in total flux. And of course that's total flux, not PPF.

Neat.

Will do! Waiting on heat sinks and power supplies. Still need to order holders and reflectors. Haven't decided on framing yet; looking at 80/20 but that gets expensive when you are building 18 units. May see what I can dig up at Home Depot. ;-)

Just started new grow; hope to have some new uints installed mid-flower (depending on parts arriving). I will start my own thread once I start building units.
