Changing soil on 1 1/2 week old seedling

Can I change soils when I transplant from solo cup to 1 gallon container.... I started using a cheap soil and now I have fox farm ocean floor. I already have two tips of roots coming out the bottom of cup so I want to make transplanting stress free...

The small amount of crap soil in the cup won't affect anything in a 1 gallon pot. I'd transplant it to good soil and leave it at that.

I agree with SouthCross, The shock of shaking all the soil out and transplanting isn't worth it. Do like he says, the roots will be out of the old soil in no time.

And one more time i agree as well, leave the soil its in now fill around it with the fox farms.

may even wait until the roots fill the solo cup better. the more root bound the plant is the easier to transplant with no stress.
