I want to do a side by side test with a hps bulb . an I power 10 dollar bulb vs a 85 dollar hortilux . I looked at a lot of info on the internet tests are only showing a 10 % better rate out of the best bulb in the world . I currently run all hortilux but once I was so broke I had no choice but to buy I power hps but it was half way done in flower end results were great . I wonder how it would do for entire flower process . 10 % less par would not absolutely mean 10 % less yield . idk who knows I think its all about the ballast you buy to get the best par .
I haven't powered up the lab yet, that's why bills are cheap lol. Next month I'll have turned in the T5's and a month later the big boys lol. Oh then there is the hot tub that has been down for a bit, that gets powered up as well. Yup girlfriend sits in it at minus 20 smoking big bowls of my stash lol.
