changed my nute mixtures and messed up my garden

I recently bought some nutes different from what I've been using, and I don't know exactly what I've done, or how to proceed. I've been using earth juice grow( everything is in happy frog soil), with botanicare pure bloom pro and botanicares liquid karma. I add molasses and Epsom salts to my tea and some nectar from the gods calcium. Done ok with this line up for a while (one grow, start to finish but I harvested early cuz they hermaphrodited) I recently found some soluble earth juice bloom master 0-50-30 and decided to feed with it instead of botanicare pure blend pro bloom for one feeding, and on the next one I used 1/2 dose of each. Now my plants that are 12 weeks veged and now in week two of flower are barely surviving what appears to be severe nitrogen shock/burn. Severe clawing, and yellowing, dying leaves as bad as 50% of the plant on the worst and 30% clawing with 10% leaf death on the best. There may have been a small amount of earth juice grow left over in the bucket that I made my bloom tea in, but like 1/2-3/4 gallon of grow tea and I mixed 5 gallons of bloom tea with it. Is that enough N in weeks 1&2 of flower to do this? Did the two different bloom nutes react badly?? I need to know what I should do from here.

I'm No pro but on my first grow I sizzeled my plants under a 600w hps in a tiny closet I wasn't feeding nutes either they would almost crumble in your handset was that bad.

I corrected the lighting fed them some canna veg and boom, within a week they shot up some of the new leaves were already too deformed to recover but the plant in general was ok,

In your situation id give them a weeks worth of plain water then switch back to my original feed.

But maybe you could use a more experienced opinion, either way good luck dude

Flush the hell out of them with ph corrected water 6.4 ph. Next feed make sure you have an EC/TDS meter and keep it under 800ppm with your feeding. I'm guessing that you don't check your ph and concentrations on your water after you mix in the nutrients since you don't mention any values.

Buy the meters. They are a fraction of the money you're going to spend just on lighting. Why waste all those expensive fertilizers, seeds, electric bills, and save money on $40 worth of meters.

You can't do this right without the meters. EC/TDS, ph meter, light meter. Remove the dying leaves. Keep the grow area free of dead plant material. Make sure your fans are moving enough air that your plants sway a little. Sick plants, stale air, and dead plant material will call in spider mites and powdery mildew.

Once your plants are in the flowering stage they require less nutrients. I don't know why the flowering nutrients are packaged so hot. If you're mixing up nutrient water for just a couple plants you're using tiny amounts of chemical salts. If you don't have a meter that can measure the concentration in your water you're going to burn them.

Good luck

Thank you both for the insight. I have a ph meter, but that's it. Ec/tds, is that two different meters? You don't need to answer, I plan on googling it in a minute. I agree, if its 40-50 $, I'd be stupid not to get it/ them. I've been giving them straight water, but 2 of the six( the ones looking the worst) aren't drinking it well, so I was trying to dry them out some before flushing. I will try the flushing of them now though.... I knew I should, just didn't want to add drowning them to the list of tortures I have bestowed upon them.. Ty for the replys.

Maybe the large amount of phosphorus/potassium to early in flower caused you problems, maybe a slower transition to bloom nutes might help.

EC and TDS are 2 diff ways to tell you the same thing... I think EC is the preferred choice now. I still use a TDS

Pictures are more helpful.. the ej bloom you mentioned has no N in it so that can not be the culprit. Are you positive you are not over watering? This can show the same signs as nute burn.

I am positive about overwatering, and I started transitioning bloom nutes 3 waterings before I switched to 12/12, and I transitioned the lights gradually over about 10-12 days. BUT... I was using the pure blend pro bloom for the transition and my first feed after they were in flower. It was my second feed in bloom that I suddenly tried the ej bloom master for a full feeding, and I didn't notice any problems until after my next feed where I decided to go with 1/2 dose of each . And like I said, I'm pretty sure there was about 1/2 gal. Of my veg nute mixture still in the bucket that I made my bloom mix in. 4-4.5 gallons of bloom nute tea on top of about .5 gal. Of ej grow mixture. I'll try to send a pic after work, but the severity of it is over. I've taken dying leaves off, flushed, and they are starting to pull out of it.
