Boneheaded comment by Matthews, he lost his mind for a bit the night of the first debate.

I do agree on some level about a lack of basic respect for the office though, and both sides have been guilty of that over the last couple decades.

Obama stood up and almost began to speak during Romney's time. He's supposed to wait.....there's no story here....Chris Mathews has lost it
Why would you expect the 2 candidates to respect each other??! This is US politics, we don't respect the other side of the aisle in most cases

Chris Matthews is comedy gold. I'll never forget the shot of him immediately after the first debate. Windblown, disheveled hair, looking like he ran a 5k in his suit. He was so distraught at the fact the defeat was so obvious, EVEN HE wouldn't be able to spin it into a victory for Obama. Priceless.
