CH9 Jack, anyone?

So I got this free seed and initially I though it was a Jack Herer and I planted it. Turns out upon closer observation on the package it is actually a CH9 Jack, a Jack Herer cross. I've done a little research on it, seen some good things and some bad. (some people reporting hermie issues). It's quite a large plant, you can see in the pic, the fence behind it is 6 ft, the plant is in a 100 gallon smartpot. Just curious if anybody else has grown this. It may be large but that is irrelevant if it produces boo boo. It may be used for making wax or BHO. Anyone have any experience with it?

This should be in the "Who thinks they have the biggest outdoor plant" section! I'm sure that with the Jack Herer genetics, she will be awesome. I had one of those seeds, but it didn't germinate! She looks too healthy to hermie!

That plant is fucking huge aand looks great! If I'm not mistaken, it isn't even flowering yet? Or it is just now starting to. Anyways as long as shit keeps going good I cannot even imagine how much of a yield you would get offf a monster sized plant like that. I am totally jealous. Lol! I don't know shit about this strain or the breeder itself. All I have ever read is bad things about them. I got a couple fem's free from Attitude a while back that were CH9 Jack, Critical Jack, and Jack 33. It's something like that. I would have to double check my seeds to make sure exactly which strains it is that I have. I read so much bad shit about them, mainly herming issues, that I just left them in the bottom of the tin can that there in. Plus when I read the breeder description it didn't seem all that appealing to me at that time, but I have started to have a change of heart in what strains I want to try now. I will definitely keep an eye on your thread to see what you think about it. Good luck.

Thanks again for the looking and also for the comments.

Kentuckyboy, its something that I wouldn't normally pick out to grow either, but I decided to try something different. I also read about the hermie issues! Hopefully Cindysid is right and she won't hermie. Since she has Jack Herer in her genetics I am hoping she will have some decent bud. She has just started to show signs of flowering. She's definitely a healthy girl, but she is not my favorite in my garden. I have another plant that is not my tallest, but definitely my favorite. I'll have to post a pic of her later, if I get a chance to.

From an indoor plant of this type, grew one of them. Giant buds that looked beautiful but they sucked. I blended it off with two other varieties to get it gone. Maybe you will get a little better result outdoors.

About two weeks away from harvesting Jack. Got him as the freebie as well and was blown away at the size of the buds that this guy is producing.
My jack plant is just over 4 feet though, and indoors. Nowhere near the size of your bad boy

reese123, after you are done come back and tell how the smoke is. In the end, the bud size doesn't matter if its not quality. I was at the very least hoping it would make some decent BHO.
