No this thread has nothing to do with growing.
I have these two lamps that I run 100W bulbs in when I sculpt. I decided to do my part for ecology and switch the bulbs out to 100W equivalent CFLs. OK so I really don't give a rip about ecology, I wanted to save a couple pennies on my electric bill.
Anyhow with my new bulbs glowing I went to work. within an hour I started feeling nauseated and kind of dizzy. It felt kind of like motion sickness. I went inside and laid down for a while, after a quick catnap and a hot shower I felt great again. So I went back out to the shop and started sculpting again, same thing, got sick again. After recovering from this spell I put the 100W bulbs back in my lamps and I am once again sculpting without becoming ill.
I can't figure out why they made me sick. They were very blue, maybe that was it. Who knows? Anybody else ever notice something like this with CFLs?
