CFL socket question.

So I've been searching around on how to make my own CFL light housing unit, but the problem I've been having is figuring out how much wattage the sockets I'm gonna put together are gonna need. I'm putting a splitter on it, so double said wattage of 2- 200w equivalent.

I have two 64 or 68 watts on those spliters. With no problems. I also saw a y adapter holding two more y adapters. Shouldn't have any problems.

Oh radical! Thanks man. Where do you guys pickup the light bulb sockets? Do you guys just go to home depot and DIY assemble and wire them together?

no wiring, just w regular ol' Y adapter screwed into a normal socket.

I'm talking about the normal sockets, where do you guys find those? That's my quandry as of now haha. I don't wanna buy a whole lamp, just to rip the socket housing units off, is there a place you can buy those sockets by themselves?
