Cfl small closet grow question. pics

Im gunna start growing indoors for the first time and i wanted to know how many of these cfl's (the kind below) it would take to grow 1 or 2 small plants?,

and would i need to set up any type of exhaust or anything or do cfl's not get hot enough to need one?

is there anything else i need to worry about?

i know its a ghetto looking setup haha but i just want the basics to get the job done cuz im broke

the closets about 7 or 8 feet tall and the pic is only half of it

get yourself like 15 of those 13watt cfls, 5500k for veg would be great but if thats all you have then thats all you have, as for heat cfls emit less heat compared to other light souces so you should be fine..

do i need like 15 of those minimum? i dont care much about yeild this first time cuz i have no money at all and im fine with just a little bit

No you could have 1 and yield if you wanted too...Very poorly...Just go for what you think is alright, what you can handle...

i think i got some more laying around the house. would i be able to have like 5 without having any ventilation

You could prob get away with having 5 without heat problems.. are you growing in an open area like say the closet in your pic??or in a small cabinet of somekind?

Then you should be fine like I said clfs arent very hot like regular light bulbs and hps and if it is hot a small fan will suffice to keep temps down..Im currently growing with two cfls in my flower cabinet, one 68watt(2700k)and one 42watt(2700k)for a total of only 7000 lumens and I have like 3 plants in my cabinet which usually yield about 20 to 25 grams each depending on the strain.. check out my latest grow to see for yourself that cfls could be an excellent light source if you use the light efficiently..

Also If your growing in the small corner of that closet try to build a light reflector of sometype above your plants so you wont loose as many lumens as you would if you didint have a relfector.. Cfls become less efficient the farther away they are and the light just dissipates when you dont it have enclosed somewhat.
