ThanksLooking good congrats you are on your way
I have one fan at the top of the box on one of the narrow sides just under the handle grip. I have one large ventilation hole directly across from it but at the bottom of the setup. I also have a second small side intake (it was the original intake and didn't work well enough, I might actually cover it). One thing I've been doing to keep the temperature down is use a room humidifier in the closet with it. It puts out cool vapor and keeps the humidity at a steady 55%.bigd921 said:What is your ventilation setup exactly? How many fans and where?
I am in the beginning of my 2nd week of flowering right now. I intend to use the cups for the duration and have no yield expectations. I am hoping to get something near the 7g mark like bombdigity, though he suggested using better soil / nutes for better yields (which I am doing). I'm just going to hope for the best and be happy with what I get, somethin' is better than nothin'.Nice, reminds me of my setup with the red party cups. Will you be flowering in those cups or are you just veging. If your flowering, what do you expect for yields from each plant. Im pushing for 10g per plant.
How many bulbs are you running? Try unscrewing one or 2 you will see a difference.I have one fan at the top of the box on one of the narrow sides just under the handle grip. I am thinking about buying a larger duct fan possibly but sound is definitely an issue. I had tried using a much larger house fan but it was much too loud (though it regulated temperature WONDERFULLY).

I wouldnt bother transplanting just something to keep in mind for next time, as far as the stretch it reall applies when working from clone, you want to find the "sweet spot" for your strain once its found they finish right under your lights. in most cases i start with a 3-4 inch cloneI have 8 bulbs running.
Is it worth my while to start that process (and thus transplant) or should I just keep that in mind for the next one?
Edit: Also, after reading through a lot of your grow journal I noticed you talked about intentional stretch but never found the page where you explained exactly why you were stretching. Is this something I should be considering right now? If you explained this early on, I admittedly read like the first two pages and then started reading backwards, so I apologize if it was on the 3rd page or something .
Was hoping this was the case I'll keep it in mind for the next time, thanks.I wouldnt bother transplanting just something to keep in mind for next time, as far as the stretch it reall applies when working from clone, you want to find the "sweet spot" for your strain once its found they finish right under your lights. in most cases i start with a 3-4 inch clone
My box is 20in x 36in which if my math isn't absolutely wrong (a good possibility) means that I have 5 sq ft. The smell isn't too bad quite yet so I've managed to keep the temperature right around 80 with no filter.Do you know the square footage of your area?? You can reach a point when having additional bulbs becomes a minus and not a plus.........8 sounds like too many IMHO maybe cut back to 4 until you develop a canopy then add more bulbs..........
Sure, I'd definitely like to see! I might have to follow in your footsteps in that regard, I like the micro style. My mom and clone box is 2 ft wide 2ft tall and 1 ft deep I have 3 moms and about a dozen clones at a time and I only use 2 26w cfls I will post pics of the plants and box if you like

I am going to try getting some carbon sheets and build a bigger filter to see if that works out a bit better. I am also considering a 2 fan solution, but if it'll be ok to just unscrew a few lights, then that sounds great!

Thanks, yah, I guess I'll unscrew 2 bulbs for right now.here is the mom cab
How exactly would that work? I know that topping causes the plants to split and grow two shoots in that spot. Would I just cut one of them as a clone instead of letting it grow for budding? How big would it have to be before I cut it?I hav run several 12/12 from seed I would say top the ones that you think are female and clone them right in your box...........
