CFL question

kinda stupid question i cant really seem to find a straight answer on for shits and giggles i got a lamp that i was gunna put in my closet with a bright effects 75w daylight cfl link below....

anyways was curious if i would get anything worth while for 1 plant from 1 bulb then during the veg switch to a 2700k -3200k bulb anyones thoughts?

If it is like others it should put out about 1400 lumen's or so. That wont matter much, but if you have a problem area there you go. I have heard the adage, " you can never have too much light".

yea but what am i looking yield wise? would it even be worth the trouble or would i just be wasting my time? im not trying to go crazy i mainly do outdoor grows i need something to hold me over during the winter im getting antsy lol... just tryin to think of something very simple and easy

i was also doing the same thing just tryng to pull my plants indoors before summer so i can veg it for a long summer outdoors, i have set up a 7x4 grow room. i bought some heavy duty tarp and made a curtain on the sides...so in the morning they get real sun then close the curtain at night and give them my 150w and 250w mh. i know that is not enough light for the size of my grow room. but right now i just want them not flowering on me. i am not really sure what you are asking but if you have 75 watts of light 4500++ lumens that is enough for one plant to veg in a 1 sq foot of grow room keep em close like 4 inch away from the light. was wondering you said you have 75w of cfl is that the actual wattage?

I don't know what your bulbs cost, but if you could get a second and a socket-splitter, that'd be plenty for sure. Good luck.

yea the 75w is the actual wattage its a 6500k spectrum 75w = about 1500 lumins i figure you would atleast need to keep the plant within a 3 square foot radius and flower at about 12' to even see any kind of results idk just a thought like i said im antsy i need march to come =)
