Started LST today, tying/pinning the plant down with pieces of bent and cut coat hanger. This is my first grow, but I've done an immense amount of research. Keep track of this thread, lol, it is going to done right.

Side note: My bigger plant is showing no signs of shock, even after it's super torturous root destroying transplant.
 
im currently germinating a white rhino seed and a snow white seed both fem. (nirvana). hopfully in a few days they will sprout. i bought the propagator pro for nirvana for germination so i hope thatll speed up things a lil im going to lst both plants. do you mind posting pis of you lst setup/?

Firt time grower as well
 
i hope you plan on at least quadrupling your lights. rule of thumb is 100watts for your first plant, 50watts for each additional plant. although those numbers are very low. im using 210watts for a single crop.

other than that, looking good. keep it up.

Added two 18watt 1200 lumen/each 2700k bulbs today. Still figuring out the set up. Only using one, they get fucking hot. Might just get a bunch of little 10-13w.

I robbed it out of a sunlamp, had to cut all kinds of wires to actually remove it. Wired it all back together. It's 27 real watts, but it puts in more work than that LOL. It has a ballast, and the bulb is a 4 pin weird shit.

mine looked pretty identical to this one, except i broke it a while back in the dark, hence me finishing the job. Doesn't get hot either. Stays at LEAST twice as cool as the 18 watt spirals.

I also bought one of those blue tinted "grow" bulbs, before I did any research, before I had any sprouts. It is way to effing hot to put in the case, but would it be beneficial to put a plant under it at all? Do they even work?
 
My last grow i did 170 watt true watts all 2700k had no problems veged and flowered same bulbs ppl say use 6500k to veg i never did n it worked so do what u can but would add more light in there at flowering time
 
Sup guys, I'm not dead! Got a new yob or two and have been adjusting to my new schedule.

Plant has had several setbacks at this point, but is coming along fucking great even after my weeks of neglect and light bulb burning the main tip and couple nodes off the top.

CLIFF NOTES until pics sometime this week:

Plant is at like a month and a half with no sex yet.

went in the dark for 1.5 weeks no light cycles.

changed light setup, light fell, fried top of plant off.

plant sprouted hella new branches since getting mutilated, lil thing is kicking ass.

i show plant nothing, plant shows me nothing.

used miracle grow plant food twice. seems to be working great, no burn.

Stem is strong like Ox.

LST is going surprisingly well with minimal effort or care.
 
I died for a bit. Plant died from lack of watering when I went on vacation on week 7. It was doing great up until that point, LST was going fantastic. Starting up again tonight. Just threw some seeds in a wet paper towel :)
