ha ha true that. Seems like everything is cheap i america. Here in New Zealand a 400watt HPS with bulb cost approx $200, plus $40 for a digital timer and a $5 fan. If you's dont know where New Zealand is it is the country below Australia lol. Also would have to agree with the statement about the cfl beside the HPS. HPS kick ass and grow mean plants! cheers

I just switched (yesterday) from CFL (Envirolites) to HPS. The difference is remarkable. Here's a b4 and after pic to show the change over 6 hours. One of my plants is a runt but this new lamp is making it happy.

I know its not even T5HO flouro tubes vs. HPS

the only CFLs that come close I dont know I would call them CFLS cause those fookers are HUGE and put out like 18,000lumens the 200 envirolite ones.

Buys/girls, HPS is the bomb. Dont know what bulbs you guys are using but im using SonT agro and it performs!! Check out one of my current plants just going into flowering cycle. Cheers.

Its not even worth discussion guys. We all know HPS will outgrow CFL by a long way. look at the stats...no need to even compare!
