kush seed from some kush i bought(got lucky).....using cfl lights..my light fixture will be a 6 bulb vanity light and i plan on getting 2 more and sum y socket adapters. ,y only problem is i dont know how im going to get these vanity lights to hang and become hieght adjustable...my mind is blank with ideas..in the end i plan to finish with about 18-36 cfls...u think thats enough?
my 3 kush seeds have been germinating for almost 2 days and i plan on planting tomarro..i think i may want to top them but i dont wanna put to much stress on my first grow..my end goal is to finish with atleast on big beautiful female..will provide pics once the babies sprout...any dedicated ppl out there wanna help me with my grow?? kinda like tutor me almost..i would greatly appreciate it an im an excellent student..

no replies??? no ideas about how to get the vanity light to hang..anyway..turns out all 3 seeds cracked so i got em buried and lit...pics comin asap goin to take them now

buy stuff each week while you grow the plants. you can find relatively cheap ballast & MH/HPS lamps. I think clf means less bud harvest. Good luck and post some dam pics :)

well im not to sure about th mh/hps thing..i hear there kinda pricy..plus then i gotta worry about heat issues, electricity spikes and i just kinda wanna test these waters b4 i go all in..i been studying this for a looong time so i have a bit of growers knowledge....definatly hear ya on buying a few thimgs a week and the pics will come in a few days as the sprouts come...thanks for the luck

2nd day in the dirt...still no sprouts but my guess is they will pop up on day 3 or 4..soon as i see green then u gwt pics(even though sprouts are in no way impressive)....

p.s this kush has awesome genes
...smoking an extendo of it right now...mmm.mmm good..

extendo: two cigarello's put together to roll one mean long blunt..(if ya don't know, now ya know)

3rd day..1 finally came up from the dirt...another is on its way and i can tell it will shake its shell by tomarro!..the last one im pretty sure i buried way to deep..so i resoiled the pot and threw an un-germinated seed in the dirt just to have a lil variety i guess..besides i always wondered how good a reggie plant could be if grown without the presence of males, creating sensimelia(if i spelled that right)...heres a pic of the one that came out the dirt..she's kush..indica, short and bushy how i like em..CIMG0110.jpg

the babies are in the dark cycle right now so ill post pics in a few hours..the two kush seeds are doing good..one a little better than the other...the reggie bagseed i put in the dirt is starting to pop its head above the soil..since the last time i checked in i created a reflector for the vanity light fixture..seems like the plants appreciate it.still havn't figured out how to get the light to hang but i guess that will come in due time...suggestions appreciate..comments also...

I'll sub to your thread, looks interesting. You can use HPS or MH, you can get an overhead 150w for less than $100 on amazon. Or you can do what i do, duct tape or hot glue an outlet to the walls of the grow box. With a 9 inch outlet with 6 outputs, you can put in 3 Y adapters and get 6 lights.

thanks..sounds good..got sum light shopping to do..pics in about an hour..time to roll sum of that kush...get high, gain knowledge,,peace...fer now..

CIMG0113.jpgCIMG0111.jpgi have added a reflector since these pics, but thats my basic ghetto setup in a pretty large closet...still tryna get my lights to actually "hang"..after weeks i finally have a few good ideas...ceiling hooks..small chains and drillbits should fix her up..i will be ordering these items within a months time along with two more 6 bulb vanity lights and maybe some foxfarm nutes..so what do u guys think so far for a ghetto newb?
