CFL Growth rate?

So I'm an idiot and tried doing it with 2700k lights and 3100k lights for veg and they grew at an astonishingly slow rate. Once I use the right bulbs what kind of increase in growth rate should I see, or more importantly how fast do plants grow under an avg amt of CFLs. Just ballpark estimate I know it depends on a lot but how much groweth per day

My first grow ever was with two 65 watt CFLs. (not the equvilants)
I kep them one inch above the 6 plants and I ahd to raise them everyday, for 5 weeks, EVERYDAY, at least one inch higher.
Now I use 4 65s, 4 85s,AND 4 105s. LOOK at my pics in my album.

i used 15 cfls in a small space for mine and i can tell this, the growth rate for the veg state is way slower than when you put it in to flowering. my ladies as im sure everyone else take off when you put into flowering state. good luck. and make sure you have plenty of light.

General rule - use 6500k for veg. They don't grow very fast in height but if you let them go more than 1 month they will get bushy. Switch to these bulbs ASAP.

When you switch to 12/12 for flowering, switch to the 2700k bulbs and they will begin stretching out before stopping to pack on bud mass.

Actually, the experts discuss DUAL SPECTRUM, or a blend of red-blue spectrum, or a blend of HIGH and LOW Kevins. Like 2700 and 5100 or 2700 and 6500. Some use a 4100, which is a mix or blend of cool and warm rays. I use half of both 2700 and 6500. You really need to read up on it, the more wattage the better.

I am a noob and about to purchase the 4 plant system from stealth. My question is about the lights. Should I use two for the pre flowering stage, and then switch to two made for the flowering stage? Or should I simple use the two that come with it throughout?

you have to use the daylight series for cfl at least 27 watt... maybe even two per plant they are so nice keep cool and you can keep them with in two inches or an inch of the plant without worry of burn.. Its just my opinion but I was in your spot after i broke my hps and with four 23 watt soft white it was ungodly slow and getting deformed.... once i put the two 27 watt daylights it exploded i mean exploded two inches a day atleast... check out my noob grow stealth box by clicking my name and checking my thread Hope it helps and +rep roseman he/she knows the shit too.. def.. full spectrums you can grab a 105 watt at lowes in the northeast usa for around 16 a piece 30 online not including shipping
