CFL Grow - G13 x Haze - Start to Finish

yeah i would top two but if i was u i would for sure leave one how it is cause its so nice to have just one giant but lol... but anyways i finally started my journal yesterday but i dont have any pictures on it cause my camera is all fucked up and i dont wanna use my phone cause its only 2 megapixels which my camera is so nice its an hp touch screen digital camera and the screen is the biggest u can get which is 3.6 inches and its 8 megapixels but my girlfriend has the exact same camera and i asked her if i could borrow it and she asked me y i wanted to and once i told her it was to take pics of my plants she got all pissed off and said no cause she just absolutly hates the fact that i started growin once we broke up but im still tryin to find a home for them but im not having any luck but the good thing is she said i can keep one here which i'm gonna keep my hawaiian big bud which by the way is lookin very nice but even once i find a place for them im still gonna get half of what comes off each plant and whoever's house they're at they can keep the other half so i'll still have quite a bit of bud but my tallest plant which is one of the mid grades is now 24in. i mean its gettin fuckin big and the weird thing is that it has trichs already growing out of it so i dont know if its tryin to flower itself or what but i think its because i just added 3 more 4ft fixtures which puts me at 5 of them now and i have 5 cfl's 2 r 100w and 3 r the 200w i just add all that stuff on friday and it has made a huge difference so now i have 1200w goin to my plants but check out my journal sometime i dont know how to put the url address or whatever under my name and avatar so if u could let me know how to do that it would be a lot easier for u to find it or u could just go to my name and go to find all threads started by me but im gonna talk to my girlfriend today about letting me use her camera which i think she will cause she apologized yesterday for gettin all pissed but until then i'll just take some pictures on my phone and put them on there until i get it alright take it easy bro and make sure to keep up on my journal and i'll to the same!

After you click on My Rollitup, on the left side of the screen it says Control Panel and the 1st option on that list is edit signature, that's where you would enter the url of your journal. I'll find it either way though. Yeah you definetly have to finish at least one of them at your place.

hey bro i was just gonna ask u because u have been using cfl's and this is my first grow with all cfl's and regular florescents i'm used to mh and hps but i was gonna see if u knew if u can just use a regular cfl twist for flowering because i need to start flowering my two big plants asap im also trying to figure out what kind of 48" bulb i need to switch to for flowering cause i have my cool white which were for vegging and they have worked great but i know i need something in the red spectrum i also have some of the kitchen and bath bulbs which are in the warm spectrum but i really dont think they will work to well but i started a thread so i could figure that one out but let me know if u know anything about using the cfl twist for flowering cause if they will work fine i'll use four of the 200w ones plus two 4ft fixtures but i just really need to get these goin i mean i haven't finished clones from them but they the plants already have trichs stickin out of them so im pretty damn sure they are female lol... but i'll check back in soon thanks bro

I don't know from experience, I just looked at which bulbs everyone was using and did the same. I have an equal amount of bulbs from the blue & red spectrum. I don't know how well they will work for flowering but they seem to do very good for vegging.

200w??...that'll work just fine..make sure your in the 3000k area or red spectrum tho

well they are equivalent to 200w and im also gonna be using some of my 4ft fixtures also so i should be set but i just had a guy say i should use soft white for flowering which i always thought soft white was terrible but thats just from me thinking that its not in the red spectrum but i guess it could work i just wanna make sure i get the right bulbs for my 4ft fixtures cause i dont wanna waste any time at all. do u know any truth to using soft white for flowering?

I don't have the packages that my bulbs came in but I believe the flowering bulbs were 2700k and I'm pretty sure they were the warm white light. When I get home I'll see if I kept a package.

yeah cannaboy is right, they were warm light for flowering

the person who told you to use cool white is just ignorant to growing with cfls or he was joking.....cool white is ONLY good for vegging....warm white is ideal for flowering...you have to get as much in the red spectrum as possible for flowering to mimic the harvest sun

thats what i thought but i had more than one person say to use soft white but i just dont know what bulb is in the warm spectrum cause i haven't ever seen a bulb called warm white

Gah what are you guys talking about. Soft white = Warm white!!!! Manufactures use two different words to mean the same thing.
Check the spectrum if you don't believe me.

Here they are on day 20. Like I said, all 3 of them have been topped. In the 3rd pic you can see the start of the 2 soon to be monster tops...lol

Yeah you can revert to veg after flowering to show sex, no problems. The only reason to avoid doing so would be if you had a hermie prone strain.
