Cfl Grow drobe VISIONS NORTHAN LIGHT, CRITICAL+

Sooooo Iv now got two grows under my belt and this would be my third so Iv decided to start a little journal as there isn't really much on autos and I'm gonna try my hardest to finish, what you will see is everything I have and plan to do the very as best I can on a low budget please feel free to share any help with me.

At this point I don't have the seeds but I'm going to get 3 visions northern lights and critical +
These will be auto+fem
My nutes are : bio bloom and bio grow medium: bio light mix
I'm using two red 125 watt cfls ones in a reflector and the other is in the box the reflector came in I'm not using the box to reflect just to hold the bulb
The exhaust is nothing special just a pc fan inside an modified a beer box, wired up and fitted to the top of the wardrobe (grow-drobe)

  • Pic 2 is in take and the nutes I am using bio bizz bloom + grow
  • Pic 3 125 watt cfl 2700k in maxi reflector
  • Pic 4 125 watt cfl 2700k In the box the reflector came in
  • Pic 5 is my poor man exhaust fan

Hey man looking very good one thing is that i would not use that cardboard so close to that light bulb. Heat and cardboard are a bad mix. Have you tested with the lights on yet? It might get warm without bigger vent holes

Agree on that cardboard. Explore these forums a bit.One grower took a piece of hard dryer vent and simply used something to fold it in two like bird wings. Even if you used tin shears and cut one in half lengthwise you could make a decent and fireproof reflector.

Hi mate yeah I have completed a grow but I don't think the yeild was all that but was my first time

I spoke to hocus pocus yesterday we know who they are and little seeds are on the way.

I'm back seed turned up in under 24 hours RESULT:):):):):) They are under lights in soil never bothered to germ in paper just straight in their final pot every seed Iv ever got has popped :) :) don't fix it if it's not broken am I right???!!!
Iv got little domes under them and I'm going to do 2 at a time when these two go to flower I'm gonna do the CRITICAL + and the last NL.

Yoo buddie are you doin autos
Your growdrobe is lookin good mate and they havnt sprouted yet but on my other grows iv done 18/6 and 20/4 and course with autos theres no need to flip lights 12/12
soon as they pop youll know trust me

I have only 1 auto pineapple express and that's the one in the red solo cup, but the rest are photoperiod

Awesome iv never fone photos before when I get more lights I will because im only using red big cfls maybe il get a small mh bulb for veg then use the pnes I got to bloom would it work ok using cfl and mh, I guess it would be alright.:)

Still no signs of the girls yet I reckon by the weekend

Got some sort of burn here there gone through abit of heat stress

Also I think I cloud have nitrogen toxicity because of the colour of the new growth any ideas??

I'm a noob myself so I wouldn't like to give you any advice, your plants look better than mine, I'm trying to get a flat even canopy to get the most out of my 200 w cfl, only the single bulb in reflector.

I have around 24 tops growing now but my plant is like 10 inches tall lol. I'm gna put her into flower soon as I took a lot of clones which have rooted and only have the space for one plant at a time.

I've topped the four main growths again since I last updated. Going to super crop those out to be flat with the rest in about a week then I'll get into flower.

Looks like Magnesium deficiency which will cause N lockout. Check this out here:

See if you can get yourself some Epsom Salts. It only takes a little bit, like a teaspoon per gallon. Remember to take it easy, more doesn't mean faster or better.

Dissolve it in, water as usual, and then wait at least two days to see if that takes care of the problem.

While not needed, I'll usually add some molasses as well.
