cfl grow box

My grow box lined with mylar

Mylar is less messy then paint and very easy to work with.
I took a tote and mounted two computer fans,each on one side,one for intake,the other for exhaust.
I mounted cfl's in the top of the tote,the tote is standing vertically,will not fall over,more height that way,about 3 feet.
I then took some double sided carpet tape and put that on four sides,you do not need mylar on the bottom.
Then I just measured each side,cut the mylar to size and then taped it in.
This is a very easy grow box to make and very economical.
I will use it mostly for clones,seedlings and to veg.
I can fit about 8 small pots in there,what I use for seedlings and clones and about 4 or 5 1 gallon smart pots for veg.

its good but u think ull have enough room for the whole grow ... i dont see it unless ur LST alot.

He said he's using it for seedlings/clones and some veg. People get by growing tiny ass plants in pc cases though, and this is def bigger than a pc case.

yeah people,
I'm going to use it for seedlings,clones and veg.
I have a grow tent to put them in when the time is right.
I use the tent for flowering under a 400w hps lights.
I can put alot of plants in the tent and will use that for flowering.

the setup looks good for clones/veg... got any pics of your flowering tent?

switch your cfls to the side, better light penitration. the ends of the cfls have dead spots in it and put out maybe 1/3 of the light compared to the side.
