Hey everyone, I decided to start up a journal on here in order to network with other growers. I am using FFOF soil, the liquid and soluable FF nutes, 340 actual watts of 6500k and over 400 actual watts of 2700k when I switch to flowering. The plants are 16 days old and looking good so far. I hope to hear back from you guys, let me know what you think!

The hindu berry is pretty nice. I got the seeds from a batch that the dispensary I work for bought. Not too sure why the owner bought it when it had seeds but hopefully it will turn out nice

Fed the babies with half strength nutes and some superthrive today. They have been getting more and more thirsty lately so hopefully they will have a nice little growth spurt. I plan on FIMing them all on sunday but I might do it on friday if they show some good growth. I will update in a couple days with some pics.

I'd honestly hold off on the nutes for another two weeks or so. FFOF is pretty loaded as is and I noticed a steady increase in grow this round after holding off on nutes. I'm using FFOF soil as well under 65W of CFL, and my plant is only 5 days older than yours so if you want to check out the results of what I'm saying feel free to check out my thread.

The catch up post is here: https://www.rollitup.org/cfl-growing/368148-first-grow-stealth-bagseed-130w-10.html#post4941790

Otherwise, your setup looks really legit and I'm subbed man. I'm gonna kick my flower box up to 400W or so after this first grow is done so we'll have really similar setups going on! +rep and give it some time, just keep growin and updating and the people will come. Even if nobody posts, the thread is a really good diary to use when you need to backtrack later and diagnose a problem with your plant or even just a way to keep track of what you've done.

Hey guys, the plants showed some good growth so I decided to FIM them this morning all except the Flo because its not ready yet. I will be watering with a little bit of superthrive tonight to ease the shock and I will have updated pics up tomorrow.

Sub'ed up for this one.... Like the setup, could you break it down for us? No, not break it physically. The components used, wattage of bulbs, etc. Appreciate it, wish you a great grow!

All of the reflective material is emergency blankets that are super cheap but work awesome, Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil with 30% extra perlite, Big Bloom, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom, Beastie Budz, Open Sesame, and Cha Ching are the nutes I will be using. The 6500k bulbs that im vegging under are 42 actual watts each and im using 8 bulbs, thats 336 watts and around 24600 lumens. The plants are all from seed, they just got FIMmed and im either going to LST or ScrOG. They are on 24/0 cycle and i am watering every other day and feeding with every other watering if that makes sense. I will be using CO2 in the form of dry ice soon to increase volume and i might start using H2O2 once a week to oxygenate the roots. I think that covers most of it, let me know if you have any other questions!

How big are those pots your using right now? Are you gonna transplant at some point or are just leave them in those pots? Also, when you water how much water are you actually giving them at what ph level and whats the ph level of the run off? I know I'm asking a lot... just wondering because a lot of journals don't mention any of that and I would like to kinda do the same setup of cfls and all.... Its a learning curve. Appreciate it. Peace be unto you.

The pots are 2 gallon but i will be transplanting once more into 3 or 4 gallon pots. When I water im not exactly sure how much I give each plant, I use some random blue cup but I would say its an average of a half gallon per plant at this point. I basically water a little and then give it a minute or two to absorb and then keep doing that until water barely starts coming out of the bottom. At this point I keep my water between 5.8 and 6.2, its not an exact measurement because I use the pH drops but its definitely in that range. I will eventually let the pH go up but not yet. I actually haven't tested my run off. I figure since im using Fox Farm all the way, the pH of the soil wont really get thrown off. Hopefully this helps and feel free to ask all the questions you come up with!

Just something quick. I am no pro but I really like your PVC setup. Just a quick thought to improve it.

Maybe take some cardboard and cover it with Mylar to stick on top of the PVC. That will decrease the amount of area the light going upwards has to travel and shoot it back down on your plants.

I know exactly what you mean. Im going to cover it with just mylar and come reflective tape today, i just have to install some new fans to deal with the heat increase. I always forget stuff in my updates because i keep a journal on another forum as well, and i smoke too much weed hahaha. I will be getting all that done today and i will put up new pics tonight. Thanks for stopping by!

So today is the 3 week mark! I got the new fans set up and unfortunately they didn't solve the heat problem when the tarp is zipped up so I have to leave it open still. Not a big deal. All the plants have been FIMmed, 6 of them had it done on friday and the Flo and remaining bag seed were done today. I got the light fixture covered up, I ended up using a piece of poster board covered with mylar that I had left over. Trying to come up with new ideas for keeping the temp down and be able to have the lights on and tarp zipped up so if anyone has some info please let me know! The plants themselves are looking awesome and showing good undergrowth, they are definitely some little bushes and Im REALLY excited for them to bush up in the next week. Here is a picture update, let me know what you think!

Decided I would show a part of another hobby, I have kept tarantulas for 8 years now. This is a baby that I got around 6 months ago, VERY blue at this age.

For you heat issues, you should look into fans you could clip onto the pvc from a local hardware store.... Wow, nice tarantula you got bro very blue, what kind of tarantula is it?
