CFL Grow 2 Ganesh + 1 Fem Hash Plant Haze

so i noticed that there was a very small bud that wasn't receiving enough light and wouldnt have been that important if i grew it out more.

this is the ganesh bud before i quick dry to sample it.

smell: very fruity, musky, and kind of like sweet tangerines.

ill report back later when we try it.

The Ganesh looks good bro! I haven't took any samples off the HPH, im being patient on that one. Yeah i like DNA genetics for sure, the Rocklock i grew from them turned out amazing, and the HashPlant Haze is fucking good too! I'd like to try their chocolope it says its a great yielder. I've grown out barney's blue cheese and lsd, those are both very potent and very good genetics, healthy plants that can take allot of nutes. My last harvest was G13's pineapple express and i harvested just over 3.5 oz's off one plant, it was potent and a heavy narcotic buzz, im still kicking myself in the ass for not cloning that one! Im gonna look for pics and post a few for ya.

ok so its mid week 8, i began flushing last friday and i still think that i might need to go 9 weeks on the hph (rare chance of going 10 weeks) and a definite 10 weeks on the ganesh.

buds are growing very rapidly, and the hph is basically everything DNA said it is supposed to be so far. some of the buds are so covered in trics that you cant even see the green undertones; just pure white, and i am in love with the cannalope/melony scent that it stinking up the house.

the ganesh has a kind of rotten fruit smell almost kind of a sweet orange scent.

took some more pics of the hph, i also cut of one of the smallest buds because it was basically out of white pistils and had about 30-40% amber trichs. the nug i cut off weighed 7.6 grams after trimming so looking for 2-3 grams of an earlier taste test, if i like it a lot i might chop the whole thing down or i might end up letting it become more amber.

Your HPH is looking pretty damn tasty! I decided to turn my lights off today, im on 8 weeks and 3 days. My HPH stinks soooo bad i can smell it outside of my house...of course i dont use a carbon filter and will def be getting one soon, but im also moving this monday and i kinda have to pack shit up. Im gonna leave her in the dark for atleast 3 days before the chop. Here's a pic for ya bro, just took it today! Can't wait to share smoke reports!

wow dude that looks super dank! i wish my leaves were going burgandy, dont have much of that going on. i hear ya about the smell, whenever i walk in first thing i smell is the cannalope smell (which is awesome!). i think i am going to chop off another smaller one in the next couple of days. if you dont mind me asking: why do you do 3 days of dark prior to harvest? do you also dry buds in the dark? i usually just chop my plants prior to the light turning on because of light degradation of thc.

that main cola in the 2nd pic looks fat as hell, nice and chunky!

the first 2 pics are of a random bagseed i grew out in a 16 oz solo cup, was a sativa dominant and yeilded 10 grams.

the 2nd two pics are of the top of the small nug i cut off that was done early. took on with the flash on and one with a small blue flashlight and flash off.


the ganesh and hph buds are getting big and very frosty. will get some pics up mid-week.

Hey Clasonde! I just chopped my HPH tonight but had my camera at my new house so i wont take pics til tomorrow. I leave my plants in the dark atleast 2days before chop because it adds lots of THC...it shocks the plant and makes it think winter is coming so it bursts out extra THC. Its actually very common to do that. And yes i dry my buds in the dark also. I left the HPH in the dark for 3 days and in that time the buds turned purple too, not just the leaves. I love purple buds!!!!! Well bro cant wait to see your pics and i'll share mine tomorrow as well!

ok so i am thinking maybe a couple more days for the hph, if i started the 3 day dark period would the calyxes swell up as well? there are still like 20% white hairs on her and about 60% of the calyxes are swollen.

the ganesh is looking like it still needs another week so i will just keep flushing her.


the first 6 pics are of the hph, she was starting to topple over with weight so i added some pipe cleaners together and made something to keep em upright.

the last 4 are of the ganesh, which is filling out really nicely. i chopped off a small 3.4 gram cola from underneath the canopy to get a taste test. the buds are extremely dense and have a nice smell of chocolate that i have noticed when broken up.

Those look awesome!!!!! Both of em for sure.... Yeah leaving them in the dark will add more resin and thc i def recommend you try it.

so its nearing the time. the hph is looking nice and swollen, maybe 10% white hairs left.

threw her into another closet where i am going to try 3 days dark.

when the 3 days are up i am going to be hanging the biggest buds and i am going to be experimenting with water curing on the small colas.

That shit loooks sooooo dank! I picked mine when there was about 20% white hairs left, they were only on the main cola. Everybody loves the high of it, some said its the best bud they've ever smoked! wow that looks spectacular! i like the blue/purple undertones. so far i really like the growth pattern of the hph and their nute tolerance. does it still have that cannalope smell/taste after the dry and cure? is the high from yours more mind, body or both? also what kind of high is it? i am growing these for medicinal purposes and the are going to be used for my fiance who suffers from chronic migraines due to a skiing accident, and what we have found that works best for her are indica dominants or any type of sedative so she can sleep for 20 mins and be fine.

sorry for all the questions, i am just so pumped to try this strain once its done. did you do the traditional cure in jars? i am thinking of jar curing the big colas, since i already know it works and have experience doing this, but on a couple smaller colas i am going to try water curing. Supposed to make the smoke smoother than ever but you lose some of the aroma doing it that way.

how much did you end up with in total yield? i am hoping for atleast 2 oz, DNA says on their website its supposed to be a very good producer but I think i got more of the cannalope haze pheno than the hashplant.

ok i decided to chop her a little earlier then planned because of space issues and lack of patience.

she still have ~10% white hairs left, couldn't really see the trichs (have a crappy magnifying glass), but they do have a nice golden tint.

i dont have a scale at the immediate time, but I am going to be picking one up later this week.

there were a ton of smaller buds not included in the pictures, that are going to be used for iso hash along with the trimmings.

i have them in the freezer for a bit, but in a couple hours i will begin making the iso hash and ill post up some pics.

buds came out very nice and coated in trichs, i had a decent looking yield amount, but i think i must of got more of the cannalope haze pheno, and missed out on the yield properties of the cali hash plant.

i have 2 small popcorn buds drying on top of the hps lamp, and ill post a quick dry report as well.

So i just read through the whole journal and man i am stoked for this herb! Both You and SG's Grows look really good, Clasdone it apears that your plants have some purple in them to, any smoke report? Im currently on day 59 flower, i have one HPH and One Mk Ultra, the hph is so covered in crystals, you guys should take a peep, the link is in my sig...

Hey Clasonde nice harvest man!!!!!!!!!!!! I harvested 2 ounces off my HPH. Def not as much as i thought because the buds were so dense, but the plant was only like 29inches tall. Yeah yours looks more of the Cannalope to me too. Now it's said that this strain gives an uplifting high that you can smoke all day. The buzz mine gives me is a strong cerebral buzz that's kinda of energetic but still chill, then i'd say after a first 45mins it creeps into a relaxing indica buzz, sorta couchlock. The stone overall last for a long ass time! And for the smell its sooo stinky and dank, hasnt changed when it went into the jar i think the smell got even stronger! Love this strain...lemme know!
