CFL grow 12 days into flowering, pics..

Should I start flushing the first plant?

Hey YZ...i am doing a cfl grow myself, can you show me a set up of your grow room.... light positioning? reason being i am about to buy a few more cfl's and damn...... if i can get my girls to look as good as yours...i'll do anything

Thanks Bus, I'll try to get some pics of the setup later today. I am using a cabinet about 18" deep, 48" wide, and 60" tall. It is definitely too small when it comes to the width and depth, the height is fine. The cabinet is split 60/40, I would like to eventually setup a small scale SOG cabinet, Veg on the bottom, flowering on top.

Well, Alot happened in the last week. I harvested one of my two plants due to a bug infestation. It was probably a week early but turned out pretty good considering the circumstances. The plant had hardly any fan leaves and I didn't want the bugs to start eating my buds. After I cut down the plant, I thouroughly cleaned out my grow space and inspected the remaining plant. I am happy to say that the insect problem is almost under control. So today marks 8 weeks into flowering. The fan leaves are turining very yellow and are actually curling up and dying. The pistols are about 60-70 % brown, but some spots of the plant look done and some don't.

I will be leaving on the 22nd for about 4-5 days for christmas... I don't like the idea of leaving my lights on unattended or coming back to dead plant so I might harvest this one. For the last two weeks I have been watering every 4 days and by that time the soil is 80% dried out and don't have someone to water them while I'm gone. I guess I'll sit back and see what she does in the next 8 days.

Bump.... Need some feedback about the time situation.

damn man they look good. how many cfl's are you using? whats the lumen amount? thanks

Just water the shit outtta them before you leave.. you can even sit the containers in a bucket of water and let them get saturated....


they will be fine while your gone..

yeah I was thinking the same thing. I just read the whole thread and was pleased with how often he updated and then got to the end and boom, nothing.
