cfl bulbs question

hey everyone my first grow i pretend on going with a cfl grow then going to go with soil hps then hydro but i need to start off the easiest way which might be cfl i know i need 2700 and 6500k but how much i dnt kno for veg then flower any one want to give me a little push

would anyone recomends this as what i will need???

i would be doing 2 pc grows so i would need light for 2 boxes

20$ for six bulbs is too much to pay. I know home depot has 4 packs for less than 8$. I don't get what you are asking but IMHO stay away from eBay for small buys like that, they charge to much for shipping.

and how much watts would i need for vegg and flower of the 65 k n 27 k? 2 of each?more?

Veg I would use like 4 6500k bulbs. And for flowering I would use all 4 2700k bulbs, depending on how many bulbs you want to use per plant

I would use a good 100 watts to get a decent harvest if I were u

I have 8 total light right now.

7 are 26w*6500K Daylight
and
1 Low wattage bulb I found laying around the house one day. Its atleast a 2700 bulb and it gives off a little bit more heat then my 6500K's. So I want to add maybe 2 more when I can afford it. Sounds bad that I cant buy 2 light bulbs, I know

and something to show me my temps. I feel it gets to a cool 70F when the fans are on and maybe a warm 77 when fans are off. Be nice to know intead of me guessing. and here I go rambling on. Gotta love the affects of cannabis.

I just realized I prob did not help you at all just now. LMAO. Just check out my grow in my signature and she how my plants are doing. I may not have the best set up right now but it is getting the job done!

daddypurp would it be good if all of them where 100watts? and would that be equivalent watss or the actuall bulb watts cuz some are lik 20 watts equivilant to 100 watts u kno?

and kevin i read ur thread they came in pretty handy i would also consider having a good fansand i checked ur thread u got a good plant there my friend thanks on the input finding out what works for different people

well i used exactly the same bulbs in the Ebay ad pretty much and i was limited, for flowering check out the GE Reveal CFLs, they bring out bountiful flowers and when you want their sex, these really help alot through my recent experience with them, i only have 3 of them 2- 100w and 1- 75w and its flowering my 2 plants great.

Kosmik go to your local dollar store. I saw just yesterday at my local dollar store they had 100 watt equivalent cfls (23 actual watts) 2 bulbs for a buck.

i have 1 plant, used 4 26 watt 100 equivalent 6500K 24/0 during Veg, and switched to these two cfl self/ballast bulbs. 65watt 2700k 300watt equivalent. they are massive, they weren't where the bulbs are sold, but where they sell the light up signs, like EXIT signs, isle 3 lol, but check them out!!!!!!! it was 16 bucks!!!!

shit me too! i just havent found or heard of one that has a self ballast, so ill just grab a few of these

im thinking of doing some sort of pc box grow at first i already bought 600w ballast but dont got the room at the moment just bought it ahead of time so when im ready i have it in hand
but im going to try cfls out just to get me threw intill im able to do a bigger yield
