Cfl and led?

I got this stealth grow and I have six 55w CFLs right now and it's getting temps up to 85, so I was wondering if it would be a good idea to replace two CFLs with these LED grow lights I found. I know they're not huge but I can screw them In like my CFLs and combined with the four remaining CFLs I think it would be enough light and also take my Temps down a little. 20160827_095656.jpg 20160827_095939.jpg Screenshot_20160827-111111.png

It'll definitely bring the temps down a couple to a few degrees. Also another positive to the LED's is that they might be giving your plants an extra spectrum to focus in on

In the future you should build a cob LED for that setup if you want it really efficient. Something like 2 cobs could probably cover that area well.

Whats a cob lol sorry I'm new
It's "Chips on board" A lot of tiny LED chips on a board. Very powerful and efficient.

Individually they look like this

but a build with them can look like this

That's just a quick build though. A cob mounted on a heatsink. But they're the best LED's on the market atm.

You can use as many as you'd like, but you have to take your space into consideration because they are powerful. A 2x2 space would probably use 3-5 cobs for instance.

Check this out to get the general idea;

But trust me.. You're probably thinking "this is too hard to build" or "I'm just going to buy a finished LED" etc.. But give it some thought and read up.. Because these are a lot better than most of the stuff you can buy, and a lot cheaper. If you want a brand LED as powerful you'll pay a lot more for it.
