CFL 5-1/2 week flowering is this hermie?>

do no feel bad my friend, out of 3 plants i got one fem, and it went hermi, the buds and such look just like yours. could someone post a pic of the pollen sacs to pick off, ive looked for em and cant find em. i know they are there cuz its seeding up and its the only plant i have. i think my cause was too just too much stress and light leaks. i will have this all corrected fully by my next grow in a few weeks. good luck with yours man id advise gettin that hermi out by what ever means neccesary. im only keeping mine cuz its all i got goin atm. and i need to get the experience from begining to end.

Any plant can turn hermie . The thing is if you can force a true female (like a clone of a plant you been using for a while that is fo sho a chick) to pop a few male flowers all of your seeds should turn out female .

I am pretty sure that is how they make the guaranteed female seeds . The thing to do is to put a clone in another area and stress the hell out of it then when the male flowers are putting out pollen put a small plastic bag over the bud with male flowers and shake it . Take the pollen bag and put it over a branch of another strain female and make your self some femenized F1's .

If you are using HPS or another red light source take the plant out and put it under some blue light to look it over . Once you do that look at each bud very carefully and look for little yellow balls or open yellow sacks . These will be your male flowers . They tend to be hard to locate under the red lights .

i end taking it out the it starting dying i put it back in and it kept looking bad leaves started drying up fast?? so i picked it early i wantedt o wait but my other 2 looks like teyll do good

In the past I accidently forced a hermie by failing to move up the lights and burning its leader. Just took one day and instant hermie! I hate em.

thanks erbium, im using a lot of cfls. ill get out some of my daylight bulbs i was using pre-flower and check it with those runing. will be some trouble but it could help so ill give it a shot.

im thinkit went hermie due to the fact some days my door would get opened for 1-3 hours before i noticed it and this was during dark hours . i read some where that you can cause hermie by interupting the dark cycle

"Please note that occassionally specious staminate flowers will appear in the last days of flowering of a female plant. These do not drop pollen and their appearance is not considered evidence of deleterious hermaphroditism. "


I think it may apply to your plant Wretched420, because it happened toward the END of flowering right?
Ive got 2 hermies. Well, 1 now I killed 1 that had hairs on a couple of branches, and balls everywhere else. The other 1 I still have because its like 95% female with only a couple of balls here and there. I've been picken them off past few days but I'm probably going to have to get rid of it (even though it looks awesome and is going to make some good buds) because I do have 6 other ladies around...Not sure what I'm going to do with it :(

thanks dude thats just about it it started drying looking like shit after 1 wekk of noticing the seeds.and it only had 2-3 weeks to go im prettys ure this is might of what happened

Yup sure sounds like it. I had 2 hermies out of ten. 1 was 95% male, it did have a few hairs though. I chopped it and hucked it. The other one I still have because its like 95% female with only a few ball sacks that I pluck off when I find them. I have to check the plant every day for balls though. But its a wicked nice shorrt bushy plant and is making lots of buds now so I'm trying to keep it going.
