any Dr that would certify without previous records should be doing a full physical exam. If all you have to do is say i want it, and the Dr gives it to you, then that Dr only cares about your wallet and you need a new Dr.

Well officer, you just call 1-900-fuc-koff and ask for dr. dontexist. Sorry but your question sounds alot like "hey stoner guys, got any leads on sketchy doctors I can fuck with, maybe get a half legit stack of paper resembling legit paperwork and fuck with a compassion club too?"

Why is that the first thing that pops into your head. I think Its someone without any health issues that wants medical status or 2 someone without a history that does qualify unlikely but possible. Least likely of the three is the thought of op being a cop... why would they waste their time asking, if the doctor is actually doing their job they would give a physical exam and confirm you have the issues you claim (if you have no prior medical records). If the doctor isnt at least doing their own exam then they are giving Scheute and his boys just more fodder to keep chipping away at the whole program. The anti med cops just makes their own fake cards and paper work anyways.

hey thatguy, I don't know how it sounded like a cop to me. Guy asks where to go with no proof of a condition and doesn't want to come up off some med records to prove he's eligable but wants his pot card. seriously asks if anyone knows where there is a doctor who doesn't even need to check you out but will give you card status like an online degree with 0 class time or tests. you're right, at second glance that seems totally legit. My bad....

Your not wrong for thinking it. Anyone would draw some sort of suspicion from the post. Plus their post history and the threads and topics he posted in seem like they are growing themselves. That's why I could rule it out.

The local dispensary in Marquette said that they have a doctor downstate and they certify you over the internet. No bullshit. I figure you need medical records or some shit. I don't know how you could fool them if you have a condition? Now if everyone is going to preach the medicinal value of cannabis, then I am sure some doctors are more than willing to prescribe the medicine. You have to sit and ask yourself, is it good for you or not? I say it is. As I medicate, you better fucking believe that I hope I am keeping myself healthy from other issues that marijuana helps. Get your card and medicate!

so long as your recommending dr does a viable check up, make documented notes of his findings, you should be good.

I just would not trust any place that gives a cert without any records or physical checkup. If there is an issue, and you wind up in court, the cert will be the only thing holding you to being authorized, thus no good cert, no authoriztion , no defense ability.

fwiw, i dont have insurance either, and its never been a problem, but the needles we and the Dr has to thread are a bitch.

but this is where the problem in the state exists...

we shouldn't be having the courts play doctor.

but also irregardless of that, i do think that the "pot docs" out there, even if they have prior records, should be doing physical exams and tests...

in colorado there are such clinics, it isn't just a place to get a signature. wellness centers indeed.

exactly Glad.. lol

thing is here Tomcat. our Law has the word Bona Fide in it. it is/was the only place bona fide was mentioned in any Mi Physician licensing or care manuals or rules. it just didnt exist. because of this term bona fide, which is part of our Law, it implies more than just a simple visit for a hang nail, ect. it was ment to legitimize the need for the Dr recommendation, but BS has used it to try to show how willy nilly it is.
here in Mi, a recommending Dr must be a Licensed Medical Dr, or a Licensed Doctor of Osteopath.

my first certification i had a longer discussion about my health with that MD than i had with any other doctor prior in my years of going to a doctor.

my "primary physicians" i dont have one, i have local and non local in my opinion. doctors are like mechanics.

i think most are worse. most mechanics have to know what they are doing by the time they are certified. Drs can make a career out of practicing their craft, on YOU.
