So as of yesterday i had to do my yearly flower room rotation, cleaning, & rebuild...
A lot of fucking work and myself aswell as my plants took a beating... but nothing serious.
A little taste of what i have to do...
Every winter i tear down my flower room and move it upstairs to keep the ambient temp higher and when summer hits i move it down to the basement to keep it cooler(basic physics). Every rotation includes bug bombing, thorough cleaning, replacement of small parts, and improvements if possible.
Right now i have 3 strains flowering
BlueberryGum, Aloha White Widow 98' aka Sweet Thang, & Ultra Violet Bud aka UVB(my own formulated purple strain)
They are going through some stress from spider mites but i just havn't had time to drive 1 1/2 hours to the nearest grow store that sells lady bugs! Fuckin small towns...
anyways they are under 1000W HPS on a 6' light mover in a 10x4x8 room (Tight squeeze)
All of my plants are clones from mothers i have in their own room downstairs. Vegged for 2 weeks and flowered. I'm experimenting at the moment with flowering at different heights..but have come to the conclusion that it is useless to flower a clone under 10''
So now back on a weekly cloning schedule but having trouble with rockwool. I had 100% success with coco fibre but got tired of cleaning up all that shit so now im just trying to keep my clones alive in rockwool until they root then ill have some new flower additions! Might just have to deal with the mess of coco

Plants are placed in FF-OF and FF-HF mixed with my own special blend of organic nutes/microbes.
Veggies fed with H20, Molasses, B1 vitamin
Flowers fed with H20, Maxicrop kelp extract, Molasses, Enzymes
(sometimes ill throw in some liquid peruvian bat guano 0-2.5-0)
I feed whenever my plants want it but i never feed twice consecutively

I'm tired of typing so if i left something out that you would like to know just ask...

Enjoy!bongsmilie

Thanks lostinthewoods,
Smartpots are the shit man!
dense nuggets, no rootbound issues & accelerated growth!
The only issue is you have to machine wash them every time you grow in em and they require more watering.
but if you are ok with a little extra work they are well worth it!

Updates as of today...

To control my spider mites i have set 4 praying mantis egg pods (30-50 eggs) in the flower room and am waiting for them to hatch.
I harvested 4 affected plants that were just taking up space and took the rest to the tub for a good rinse. The mites seem to be taking over the top buds so the best i can do for now is physically kill them with my fingers and wash off eggs n shit in the shower until the mantis take over. I don't wanna spray anything at all!

My UVB(2weeks flower) was transplanted to a 5gal smartpot and pruned foliage for optimal lumen penetration. (I trim lower prebuds and fan leaves at 2 weeks flower that don't get enough light to produce fat buds)
Ill post pictures of my recent harvest, last weeks harvest(water cured), and new flower additions in 2 days.
I think im gonna put my BlueberryGum mother in flower and regrow another mother from clone but we will see..

Looks like my clones are finally rooting too so ill have pics of those as soon as i get em big enough for flower!
Enjoy!:leaf:

DSCN0791.jpgBlueberryGum Mother added to Flower

DSCN0793.jpgClones are finally rooting! Rockwool is a success but i'm still taking clones in COCO or FF Light Warrior from now on...
DSCN0794.jpgDSCN0795.jpgNew BlueberryGum mother in 1gal smartpot. (Mothers get kinda nasty after a year so i regrow them from clone)

DSCN0796.jpgLast weeks harvest...some water cured and some air dried and curing at the moment. Its all ready to smoke but ill hold off on smoking for another 2 weeks.
It almost looks like 2 different strains because of that water cure! haha
Ive decided water cure is bullshit btw, it takes away all taste and smell which are my favorite parts besides the high soooooo no more of that!

Thats about all for today!
Ill post pics tomorrow of the flower garden. Enjoy!

UVB Flower Day 22
Responding well to trim/supercrop/transplant done last week.

Green Crack Flower Day 15
This is a new strain im trying out that was given to me by a fellow grower. He wasn't too pleased with it but honestly i think he was neglecting his plants immensely so we will see how she comes out...
Supercropped and took clone yesterday. I wasn't planning on taking a clone but i accidentally snapped a stem when supercropping so i just went ahead and cut it off for clone. If the strain is bunk ill just hash it and the clone when i grow it out

Whats up RUI?

Sorry about neglecting my thread, i just returned from a 5 day vacation and have been trying to get back into the groove of things since.
So while i was gone i had someone take care of everything and make sure my cycle goes uninterupted and with the exception of a few clones dying i think everything went well. Mites took over while i was gone so i am trying out a new organic spray "CaliClean" that i made from habanero peppers. It seems to be doing its job, VERY well.

Busting out "Baby" the old school bong. This is the last survivor of my water pieces that has never failed me since 15yo. She has been neglected in recent months because of my dumbass breaking all the bowls and female stems. This is the 6th time i've had to replace broken pieces, lets hope there isnt a 7th!
Toke n joke man!:joint:

Flower Update:

Harvested 2 Blueberrygum, they were very small so i just cut em early for hash. Not worth keeping around any longer

Placed Kushage in flower today after taking clones yesterday off her. I only have one rooted clone of her and wanted to get a couple more before i flower.

Sorry, been kinda behind on my tread during my mite recovery. I had to cut down 3 plants early for regeneration and begin a heavy regiment of insecticide application swapping between 3 sprays.
As of now my mite infestation is under control...not completely gone yet but i have a good hold over them.
My garden is finally looking like it should, full and green ^_^
Have a lot of new additions so i will provide pics of all soon enough

Tahoe OG was regenerated cloned and flowered
SAGE regenerated cloned and flowered
Green Crack regenerated, flowered 2 weeks and ill be cloning 10 GC today
