Naw they should be fine man, its happened to me like 4 times already this grow, a couple times it was 2 hours, and a couple time it was 3 hours

you can let them go longer then 6 to get the full 12 hours, which i have done, and let the them wake up at the usual time, or just let the lights go off at the usual time and let them get some more darkness

ya i woke up this morning and totally re-vamped my room to get more airflow going through, re-applied the milk application this morning as well.... pruned the shit out of the plants cause the mildew was getting a lil bad... but i did however find a single little green looking spider on my lavender plant, it looked like a green garden spider maybe.. he was chillin underneath a crystally leaf at the top of the plant near the main cola, i tried to grab him and smash him but he jumped somewhere and now i cant find him.................that was before i applied the milk solution and sun bathed them for like 5 hours

Poor spider!

If he's there, he's finding something to eat.

There's a very good chance he's your best friend in that room.

What is a "milk treatment"?

Without knowing, I'll mention that milk can bring a variety of molds into the picture, as well as a nasty smell.

If this is a common practice, could you direct me to info?

Thanks!

I took a look around and found out what's up.

I use a teaspoon of baking soda in a quart of water. I soak the plant with the solution.

This leaves a visible dusting of soda crystals on the leaves, but the powdery mildew should go away.

The baking soda shifts the pH on the leaf surface out of the range that powdery mildew can reproduce.

After a couple days, spray the plants with clear water. Repeat weekly until there is no evidence of mildew.

The other solution I'm familiar with is sulfur burners in sealed grow situations.

Sulfur creates a mildly acidic condition on leaf surfaces, shifting leaf pH in the other direction.
