Not what you think lol:-P I was crusin through the woods yesterday, on my way into the deep so to speak, when I rounded the ole dried out creek bed and smelled cigarette smoke. Now I am over 40 so my sight isn't so good, I yelled "damn I can can smell that stuff all the way up the trail", than blam!!! One of the smokers bolted into the woods, looked just like my dog so I started to laugh. The person stopped running and came back to where the other person was standing. When I got up close to them they started babbling, " I'm sorry sir" We were just experimenting" and so on. Turns out they were just kids smoking, so I gave them a stern look (completely ineffective as I was still smiling) and explained to them that all smoking will do is make some corporate CEO filthy rich while you lay in the hospital sick and dyeing, I hope it worked. When I was leaving to continue onto my plants they kinda were following me, I turned and asked what's up? And the replied aren't you going to tell our parents? I said not this time but if I ketch you again I sure will, now get. I am still smiling at the innocents of those two kids, and hope beyond all hope they stay innocent for a long time. Being nine, ten eleven, what a good time, ah one can only remember. Well hope this very true story brightens your day roundpanet. :peace:

it's a shame that growers can't have their own little piece of land, that no one will dare venture onto. I am one of the lucky ones to have such. if i catch little turds smoking on mine, their parents would be the last thing they have to wonder about! little skeptical about them following you!

Best of luck on that.

I hope you know who they are.

Kids that age feel immortal, and generally are looking for adventure. Hopefully your garden won't be where they find it.

Yes they were babies, I could tell they hadn't ventured down the path of adulthood, def. non pot smokers. When I told them to get they got. Actually I hope they return to the woods, I miss seeing our youth outside, one small plot I would gladly give up so they can enjoy the great outdoors. It kinda makes me sad I never see kids outside any more, always with the TV, or gadget of the day. I am a weekend Dad, and sometimes my daughter hates coming to see, I always spend as much time as possible outside. I pull up in my old p/u with the bed crammed full of kayaks, beach chairs, anything for outside, I actually seen her sighing once when she looked into the back of my truck, I just laughed.:peace:

When I said follow me it was more like they didn't know what to do, I guess they convinced themselves they were in trouble, and just kinda, I don't know, just started walking with me. Its not like they hung back and watched, I would have picked that right up, and delt with it, no they like bumped into each other, mulled about, than I said get.:peace:

I agree about kids outdoors. TV and then the internet have caused a ton of problems. Health and social problems are huge.

I have three acres with a horse and chickens and goats, I cannot keep my grandson inside, he is in heaven. He is 5 now, that may change but I am encouraging outdoor things as much as possible. I will buy a kids saddle pretty soon for him so I can pony him on the horse. He is very interested in cowboys and horses and watching dressage and reigning on youtube.

round, I loved reading this, and that you would give up a plot just to see these kids outside! ~ wow ~ I bought 4 acres for my family, can't get em outside....

It's a nice story, but you headline the topic CAUGHT!! on a marijuana forum. What's the natural inclination of someone clicking on the story?....that you or someone you know got CAUGHT! growing.

That's a nice Hammer to a story headline, but about as misleading as something you'd see in the Enquirer.

Sorry about misleading you someone else. Hey Leroy Jenkins, try shutting of the power in your house, just say something is wrong, I'll bet they will wonder outside.:peace:

When i was 12 me and my buddy were behind his garage smoking weed out of a coke can. When we were done we were all giggly and went for a walk down the road and a police man pulls up and ask us if we seen anyone smoking around here. We played dumb and he never asked us where we lived since i guess he didnt suspect us but when he pulled into my buudy drive way and went up to his house we figured we were done for, you know Prison, serious shit for a 12 year old. So we ran away for about a week and then finnally went back to my buddys house and his dad said " can you believe it your brother got cought smoking weed behind the garage and were the hell have you been?" his mom coverd for us luckily.
Thanks for a lost memory, round.

Nothing wrong with telling the story. Many of us, parents, grandparents, and ex juvenile delinquents, can relate. Some folks need to be more careful where they click.
