I am really feeling the cabinet with the a/c in the door!!! keep up the good work!
Its a closet with a false wall. AC was a waste, since i upgraded the fan, didnt need it. I will eventually. Bout a year or so, im planning on a dual 600w vert setup in there. Hope i have enough space.

Thanks for the support phatbuds ;]

Nice little setup you got there CFB.
Same to you my friend...

Lots of stuff i need to do tomorrow.. transplant the 4 in the flowering room to 5 gallon grow bags. Make the exhaust fan run continuous, while the intake fan comes on with light.. (cant believe it got down to 67f during the night.. hope i can get that up a little by doing this) Right now it is opposite of that. Need to figure out some sort of flap that stays closed while no air is being pushed through.

The girls (i can call them that now.. i think) are feeling good. Grew 4 inches overnight, had to move the light up 3 notches.

The males i pulled were about 80pct to root-bound. The roots grew downward, hit the corner and started back up the pot on the sides.. the dirt around the top didn't have too many roots, so i know that i can wait until tomorrow.

The plants in the veg cab are all looking nice. They look like there having a race to the lights.

Any comment on grow bags compared to a 5 gallon pot?
Been really curious about that, think I want to try bags out.

I took me a pain pill and went ahead and planted them. I never used 5 gallon pots before, just buckets. I can say this............ I DONT LIKE THEM. Might as well pay for the plastic planters htg sells. I fear that i might disturb my roots. Plus they lean a little. I am hoping that when the roots go through the bag, it will stiffen them up.... Hell, i might even get the plastic planters and put the bag down in them.

steez, unless there are better bags out there, then stick with the pots, imo.

looking good, 9 leafier is def showing a healthy plant.
I was wondering the strain after i counted the leaves... it has sativa look to it.. came in a bag of decently powerful mids.. The strain would have to be used commercially. It was kinda seedy so that tells me its one of two things... it was grown outdoors around other plants of opposite sex or it was a large indoor plant that hermied. (rambling i know, stoned) Ill give it some time before i try to determine the strain.

So, i reused some panda film and put it up around the plants in the flowering area. The tallest is at 20inches now. If ive done my math right, it has tripled in size in less than two weeks. Nothing much else to comment on. Oh, i did the 2nd fim on a couple vegging plants.

So why did you go with the bags? I just ordered a bunch of those air-pots and am going to try those for a couple of grows.

Well, they were cheap. They work fine if you dont move the plant much. been trying to find one of those long funnels, so i can water from above them.

Airpots eh.. might be good? Personaly not seen too many people using them. One of us should check it out though. :]

Hey man, I started reading about your setup and in the beginning you had asked about soil. I personally use a mix of Organic top soil, organic compost, perlite and coco. Play with the ratio but it drains really well, has a stable PH (6.5), and imho leads to a smoother/sweeter smoke. I myself am a newb but managed to get a high quality bud off of 4 cfls and 2 plants on my first grow (Roughly 1.75 oz). Just my .02 cents.

Somewhere.. i think it was around page 2 or 3, but i had found happy frog soil locally. They should call it Happy pot plant. All of my babies are strong now. Thanks for the suggestion though. ;]

So lets say i wanted to do a scrog with the cheese i have... could it be posibile to do a small scrog inside the veg cab.. fill it to 100pct, then move it to the flowering room and add 20-30 pct more screen around the other screen.. tying it together with zip ties. Would this work? if so i found a way to perpetually do scrogs.

I have 1-2 months left on whats in there now.. and the cheese is at around 12 inches tall, 10 inches wide, fimed twice. I am guessing that 1-2 months of veg would fill the "veg screen" and when i place in flower it would fill the added screen the rest of the way.

Just got to figure out what pot i can use to fit in the veg cab, and still be big enough for flowering.(dont want to have to transplant with the screen attached. Guess i could if i had to. Think i just talked myself into it.)

anythoughts?
